Remarks

College life anywhere can be tiring or easygoing depending on the person and how that person looks at life. there were many good points but also many bad points which I perceived as an individual but managed as a part of the group

Entrance Preview

KIITEE 2010. I dont know my score but I was 67th overallI chose this course because it would mean not wasting a year on doing/qualifying for M.Tech

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The curriculum was more research based and in M-tech we had 4 elective subject to choose one from - food biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, nanobiotechnology, pharmaceutical technology and a compulsory elective - molecular basis of disease (including cancer biology)

Internships Opportunities

The internship experience is good because of good labs and many students from other colleges/ inspire students from various schools, come to visit or work. There is no stipend facility as of now

Placement Experience

2

The placement is not very good. It was better in other branches of the University but not in biotechnology. The packages offered were mostly 25-30K research/company jobs and some students were placed in institutes abroad with high salaries.(1-2 lacs)

College Events

4

Our branch had a techno-cultural fest once a year called Kinesis and we also celebrate other major festivals including the Republic and Independence Days

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was barely feasible for me but has increased over the years for the batches to come and now I would put it as expensive. (but they cover basic requirements like laptops and mattress/pillows/sheets etc in hostel fees)

Fees and Financial Aid

I know of education loans for students but I dont know about the details. They would tell you at the time of counselling. Instead of taking yearly fees they split it every semester to try and make it easier for the parents

Campus Life

4

Yes there was a lot of room for interaction with other clubs and societies as a whole. The labs in the department were also very interactive and educative

Hostel Facilities

3

The room is triple sharing and is adequate. The mattress, pillows, buckets, sheets, a blanket etc are provided, The food is average

Alumni/Alumna

Not much interactions with the seniors and alumni but they are very helpful and caring. many seniors stayed back in college and joined research labs as phd scholars or research assistants

Exam Structure

The exams had sufficient gap as any more gaps and they would seem to drag. The labs and theory exams were consecutive. chilled out or not depends on individual preparation.

Faculty

2.5

Most of the faculty were doctorates and some were eminent professors in the ir various fields. Most had ongoing research in labs in the college and helped us participate in them and encouraged a research/industry bioprocess oriented thinking. They also en

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course because i love Zoology. The curriculum is strict and it also focus in the discipline of the students. The only problem is the class our overlaps with sports hour so if you want to practice your game you've to miss the last 2 classes. They all teach so professionally . Examination here are conducted so neatly and the time period is also okay.

Course Curriculum Overview:

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

The curriculum is according to CBSH syllabus,New Delhi. The syllabus can include more practicals. And also the availability of instruments should be there to do practicals individually. The exams are normal ...but the time given can change sometimes due to external factors that might shift the exam dates.
