I liked the infrastructure and the teachers of the college.I liked the excellent infrastructure and facilities.
College provide us the opportunity to explore and to acquire excellent skills.

Dislikes

There are nothing much to dislike about the college .

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen Computer Science And Engineering. The curriculum is well defined and very informative. The teachers teach everything very interestingly so that it's easy for the students to grasp whatever is being taught.

Class Size : 66Course Fees : INR 95000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are internship opportunities give by the college and mainly by the Computer Science Department. There are only a few companies which offer stipend but there are several companies which provides internships and hands on internship like Freston Analytics , Fixware Technologies etc.

Placement Experience :

Our college provides campus placement. There are several companies coming for campus placement. There are several criterias for the internship which depends on individual companies. Around 60-70% of the students get placements every year. The highest packages are 7-8 lakhs per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for me is 95000 to 100000 per year because I am not having any internship or concession. The fee structures varies for different courses. The college also provide different scholarships for the students.

Campus Life :

My campus life is going pretty good. There are several clubs in our college like TinkerHub, Google Developers Student Club, IEEE etc. The classes are also well developed with projectors and smart television. There are also NSS groups which work for the environment and people.

Admission :

The eligibility of the course is passing 12th with min 60% above in maths, physics and chemistry.For me the admission process was pretty easy because mine was a NRI seat . I didn't gave any entrance exams . There were different entrance exams and cut offs were also there for the students who gave entrance exams like keam and jee.

Faculty :

All the teachers here are highly qualified , are very interactive and very much supportive. They provide every students individual attention. They are always available to the students for any clearing all type all doubs .

Campus is choosen wisely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the university curriculum is bit old fasion.Like the technology is a way head of the things that we are studying in the sessions.But the basis are well learned from it.The improvement we need in that is that to get out of the instituion as a proffesional that can handle the new technolgy that the real world work in.The curriculum is need to improve so much as per the technology improves the students want to know what all changes that are happening in the real world and they want to be trained according to that.

My Journey at MITS

Placement Experience:

Our campus placement will begin from 7th semester. From 5th semester onwards college will provide training for placements and we have placement cell for this. An average LPA of 5 is provided from our college. Good amount of companies visit our campus for placement and we also get oppertunity to go for off campus placement

Placement Experience:

In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, and Spyridian, are the companies that often come for placements .3 -4 lakhs is the highest package given by these companies.The percentage of students getting placement is about 50-70. My plan is to go for higher studies or to go for a job.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
