My journey at DSJ

Journalism is more of artistic field to implore. Delhi School of Journalism provides that space to everyone wherein they can explore themselves, find their niche and carve it better into the students. Exams happens usually twice a year, mid sem and finals. Teaching methods could be improved a little by giving space to students and not making the environment too political for them to stand upon.

Financial Scholarship Scheme(FSS) is the only scheme, which can be relied upon by the students in DSJ. No other fee deducting policies. There is another Vice chancellor Internship programme wherein you can try to get enrolled and they do provide prestigious stipend for your work as well.

DU has a central library with literally so many books, so many journals to choose from. More to that DU provides a pass to gym, stadium, Hostels and everything. All you need to know is the method of availing them in a correct way. As far as my college is concerned, we have 12 societies focusing equally on extra curricular as the Syllabus curriculum. I guess, there won't be a single student in our college who isn't an active part of at least one society. There are even political wings working actively, timely protesting against injustice, holding elections fairly and smoothly. North campus is a State on its own.

You are eligible if you pass your CUET with flying colors, weightage will be given to +2 report cards as well but CUET has made it much easier for average scorers to stand at par. Admission process is very smooth and very easy. I got admission during covid times, hence my process was entirely online. I suppose its the same for my college even now.

The faculties over there believe in adjusting to the student environment and not creating some sort of special environment for the students which helps the learning even more effective and favorable for the students. They are skilled and know what they are teaching. The faculty, although the college is not multi-programmed, makes sure you get a wider experience of College politics and how to deal with it having a positive attitude.
