- The environment and enthusiasm of students is amazing and inspiring.
- The campus of my college is beautiful, the library and facilities like drinking water cooler is great.
Dislikes
- The staff and teaching faculty are bad, the professors never take their classes and a week before they start taking online classes. The behaviour of professors is pathetic..they treat us like illiterates
- The student council of the college is also pathetic, basic hygiene is not maintained in the college..
Course Curriculum Overview
The practical work included in our curriculum is very effective. It really prepares us for the real world applications in caore specific paper but talking about the other subjects included in our curriculum by the new NEP is a real waste. It not only distracts us from our main goal but also wastes our time by studying subjects of commerce which is of no use for us. SEC, VAC and GE is a real waste and burden for us.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 14872 except for the charges they add on for hygiene and laboratory. Because I personally have never seen or visited my department's laboratory. Personally, I have never taken any campus employment
Campus Life
Campus life is the real jist of college life for any student. The clubs of colleges are fun. Every college has an annual fest and departmental/ club fests..which take place in different months of the year. The annual fest is organised in Feb- March .. different departmental fests starts in November and continue till March. The library is the best and my favourite part of the college. The only place with an air conditioner and silence. The book's availability is good and informative. The procedure of issuing a book from library is also easy and now the Library of most of the DU colleges are getting digitalised. Sports department of DU is also good.
Admission
The overall admission process from filling the application form to giving exams, the cut off procedure and then filling our preference list..it's not very simple but not very complicated. The preference list can be a game changer.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is very poor. The number of students are more than the faculty members. Secondly the faculty never takes their classes.. personally I don't know how they qualified or were appointed by such a famous and reputed university. They give marks according to their wish. Partiality is very common activity practiced by the faculty members. The student of butters them the most gets the highest marks are the faculty members support them in everything they do. If there's any function their names are automatically given by the faculty.
