Likes

The College Infrastructure and the college environment was so beatiful
I enjoyed a lot in the campus. Webinars they conduct were so useful.
Facilities are so good that you will feel that when you entered the college.

Dislikes

The price of the records were to high and it is mandatory to buy only records from college.
canteen food price is so high and sometimes it will be not good also.
To much compulsory things like internal things and Aromas is the place where we will have costly food and low quantity.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was very well prepared with the details of events that will take in that year and the subject wise cirriculum was also given to understand the subject in topic wise and the preffered text books that were avaliable in the libraray to refer for us was also mentioned as per the subject.

Placement Experience

Yes they used to provide campus placements. They started the process from the seventh semester itself. But there were all IT companies. Oppurtunities for core branches like Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace were too less.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for Kcet students was below one lakh and for people who come from management is about two to three lakh per annum and if they staying in hostel they need to pay eighty thousand for six months. The college doesnot provide any scholarships.

Campus Life

The campus life was Good. They were lot of freinds although the strenghth was less in our branch we had friends from other branches soo we enjoyed a lot during our college days. Now were are in final semester. So hoping for the better ending of our college life.

Admission

Admission Process is too much for enterance exam. After getting rank in Karnataka board entrance exam we need to apply for counselling and the process takes time and then the applied needs to approve the application and they the college will call you for the admission and we need pay college fee of about thirty thousand separtely.

Faculty

The best thing for our branch is every faculty who were teaching were very well and all faculty were all phd graduates. the faculties used to teach very well and we used understand the concepts very easily.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem the students are allowed for internships and can go for placement campus selection or off campus placement and the avg goes to 6.5 to 7 lpa which is quite decent and good percentage of students get placed every year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is outdated to be very honest. It needs to be changed as soon as possible. Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi need to change their curriculum as soon as possible because in the era of Artificial intelligence we are lagging behind and this traditional syllabus need to be scraped out and make from scratch from industry experts. Curriculum should industry relevant, that what is the current demand in the industry.

The placements of our college was excellent. Students are eligible for placements after 6th semester . Highest package was 55 LPA Average package was 15 LPA Percentage of students getting placement was around 85 to 90 percent

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year,students start preparing for internships. Companies like Accenture,Wipro,etc. visits the campus (through senior info). For amazon, we are told that they don't visit the campus for internship and placement, so we have to do it off-campus. The highest package offered is 53.5LPA. and the average package is 6.5LPA. My plans after getting the degree is to get a job first and after gaining experience, further achieve higher studies.

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
