One thing I like about NIT Trichy is the students and faculty. Students come from all over the country to study here
Second is the campus , it is very beautiful

The campus is very far away from the city

Course Curriculum Overview

I personally love my field which is electronics and communications. I have always been interested in electronics. and I wish to pursue artificial Intelligience so this field is the best for me that is why I have choosen this

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not have any financial assistance as there are certian conditions to get it and I did not fit in that soo yes fees is decent not to high but it is the highest in all nits so yess. but facilities are good

Campus Life

I think NIT Trichy is called the pride of india because students here manage academics and extra curriculars vert well. we have many clubs for almost every field. Most of the clubs are active throughtout the year

Hostel Facilities

Girls hostel is decent , we have water wifi and good mess and all basic neccesities but Boy hostels face water issues sometimes but that is also being rectified now . So the facilities are decent enough for the fees that we pay

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

admission process is done through josaa councelling and it is a very long process . You have to give jee mains and if you are from general then get above 99 percentile . and after that you get in national institute of technology

Faculty

Faculty members are phd holders and have great knowledge in their subjects , they are very helpful and are always open to doubts and extra classes. Few teachers also guide you beyond classrooms which is great

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

To be honest it's was not my 1st preference to get admission even though I am here . Reason for rejection is distance from my home town. For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc .
