Course Curriculum Overview

3

The Curriculum is approved by Bharatiar University. As Always the curriculum provides the basic fundamentals in the earlier semesters and builds upon it to the Advanced topics as the semesters progress. The curriculum prepares you to tackle problems by reviewing the problem's core. The theory side of the curriculum is great but the practical side could be improved. The teaching methods are conventional containing slideshows, notes and assingmnets. The assingment are also submitted throught online platforms. The practical implementation of curriculum should be improved. The frequency and timings of the exams are fairly well adjusted and the exams are easy to clear if well prepared.

Internships Opportunities

2

Internships from blue Kode technologies were offered but without stipends. Soft skills training program was sponsored by Infosys for the second and third year students. Internships are arranged for students by the college.

Placement Experience

3

Once in the 3rd and Final year the students will be eligible to participate in campus placements. Many companies visit the campus for placements, out of which the notable companies are Infosys, TCS and General Mills. The highest package last year was 4.5lpa and avergae is around 2.5-3lpa. Over 90% of the students recieve offer letters from the placement drives. Students can work or Pursue Higher Education.

Fees and Financial Aid

There have no hikes in the tuition fee. The fee per semester is 25000rs with a total of 6 semesters and it comes out 1.50Lakh rupees. The transport fee ranges from 5000-12000 per semester depending upon the distance from the college, other compulsory fees include uniform and other miscellaneous expenses around 3-4 thousand rupees per semester. Campus employment is not available and the college doesn't provide any scholarships to the best of my knowledge.

Campus Life

3.5

The prominent Festivals are Diwas, and local festivals such as Onam and Pongal. Starnite is concert held around April. Diwas in held in the ODD semester. This is an inter-college competitions and Evening with other events. Classrooms: Classrooms are equipped with a Projector and Computer. There are 3 active computer Labs with around 60 computers in every Lab. Sports competitions are held for students. Students can participate as Teams.

Admission

Passing the 12th exams from any state, cbse or icse board will make you eligible to apply here. The application forms can be acquired in the admission cell in the college or any of the admission center's. There are no reservation quotas to the best of my knowledge. The Frequency and timing of the exams will depend on the ODD or EVEN semesters. Even semesters are shorter and hence the exams are very frequent. In the longer ODD semesters the exams are fairly timed to accommodate the students and the the other events.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty-to-student ratio is well balanced and certainly manageable and accommodating to both the faculty and students. The faculty mostly have decent subject knowledge and relevant experience paired with a masters or a doctorate in their relevant field. Some faculty lack experience but not knowledge. Overall the faculty are kind, Experienced and Well versed in their field. The Faculty can easily approached and are ready to help.
