The course has been designed with great minds and both theory and practical fields are in a balance Condition. The curriculum also includes study tour with faculty members and a training programme which must be attended outside the campus for veterans exposure.

Placement cell of department is a little weak but the professors are always ready to tell us about the opportunities in various fields such as parasitology and sericulture. Also one can join project related research work after completing this degree.

1st semester fees - 7400 2nd semester fees - 3200 3rd semester fees- 4200 4th semester fees - 4400 In this 2000 rupees are refundable which a student gets after completion of the degree. And to all the students of the reserved category the fees is reduced to half.

Campus life is very fun loving and enjoyable as there are different activities which goes on and off. Functions such as debate competition , extempore, and mainly the sports club is super active. Twice a year we have inter departmental competitions going on.

The admission process was very smooth. All the works such as application form submission, release of cutoff, selection of students and fees submission was done online in a smooth way. Only document verification was done in an offline mode that too in a very simple way.

Their are total of 7 faculty in the Department of Zoology. 3 of them have expertise in Fisheries 2 of them belongs to Parasitology background 1 from Sericulture background 1 from Animal Science background . These versatile faculty members are very effective and versatile in their field.
