Likes

The annnual fest of the college is pretty good.
The faculties are very good and cooperative

Dislikes

The management is very poor and not good.
The college imposes fine on very small inconvenience or late fee submission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is only dedicated to bookish knowledge, they dont allow us for surveys, site visits, case studies or educational trips which is crucial for application of the knowledge, but no they think we are sufficiently taught by books only

Internships Opportunities

I have not yet done any internship because i have not reached my 4th year yet but there is a compulsory 6 month intership in our cirriculum. The stipend depend upon the company/firm were working in but in industry standards 8k-12k is given to interns

Fees and Financial Aid

They will only provide scholarship for the first year. And promise to continue the scholarship based on marks, but will discontinue even after getting good marks. They will increase the amount of annual fest every year which is not stated by the staff and then implement late fine fee. The exam fees is seperate from the tuition fees.

Campus Life

The campus life is good lots of events and programs are being conducted by different courses where students of other courses are also allowed to participate. The annual fest PINAK is also very good with celebrity night, technology fest navdhara etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are very good with clean environment, the hostel food id very herendous with uncooked rice, insects on food, no nutritional value food. The hostel fees are 90 thousand for 3 seaters and 1 lakh 10 thousand for 2 seaters.

Admission

The application process is very easy, It can be done either online or offline a staff will assisst you in the process and help you in choosing a good course. The official website of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University has the admission forms.

The facultg to student ratio is too low, teachers often leave mid semester or after teaching for only one semester. No dedecated teachers for subjects, one teachers takes two or three classes in one batch.

Nothing in mind but yeah I can say this that don't enroll in dit if u're serious for ur future

Placement Experience:

From 8th sem. Student become eligible for capus placement in which students have to do all the work to attract companies sometimes. Clg brink handful of company which only take 4-8 students. I wanted to do cs always but because of this course I already forgot my skill in computer science

Course Curriculum Overview:

I believe Architecture course curriculum is pretty heactic but one thing I dislike here is that all the optional courses are made compulsory and we end up having 8-9 subjects per semester. The curriculum is available on the college website.

IIT Roorkee has some of the best campus placements not only among all iits but all over india, depending on the branch and the job feild we are applying for we can expect an annual salary of atleast 15 lakhs to 20 lakhs. only condition is our grade point should be above 6 or 7.

Placement Experience:

As being an IIT the placement of the college are superb and as per the standards of IIT. The college has a record of 100% placement. Architect Hafeez Contractor, C P Kukreja Associates, Shilpa Architects, DLF, Christopher Charles Benninger Architects are one of the top recruitment companies for B.Arch. The placement committee plays a very important role during the placement round of the campus. The placement committee is very supportive and totally guides us during every round of recruitment. The highest package was around 45 LPA and the average package was around 16 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placements are usually good for all departments, 4 year course students become eligible for placements in their 3rd year, 5-year course students become eligible for placements in their 4th year. Almost all major companies visit the campus average package varies depending on the department and profile from 6 LPA To 1 Cr. Almost everyone who opts for the placements gets placed. I however didn't sit for the placements so my information on these subjects is second hand.
