Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Medical field has always been my dream to pursue and that's why I took it. Saving people is my ultimate dream. They teach first in white board, then virtual reality and last with live subject. Tests has been conducted frequently in all weeks. And once in 2 months there will be internal assessment.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees for one batch will be same for next 5 years. There won't be any change. For Government quota it's 8 lakhs, management quota it's 17 lakhs and for NRI quota it's 24 lakhs oer year. SC/ST scholarship, first graduation scholarship are available. Tuition fees will be free for these scholarship and not the hostel fees.

Campus Life

4

So far there was no events held here. Not even sports day. Books in library are less in number and it's a small library. There are 2 I-Boards in class. AC works only at 3rd year students class room. No such kind of sports or extracurricular are promoted here and less facility is available here.

Hostel Facilities

3

Here in SPMCH, day scholarship is not allowed so all are compelled to stay in hostel. In top floor, water leaks through crack during rainy season. It's 2 person in one room. Meal is not up to the marks. They can be improved. No outside PGs are allowed here. Hoatel fees is bit high for the hostel room and facility.

Admission

Should qualify the NEET entrance exam. All these application forms are available at NTA website. NEET comes once in a year usually at 1st sunday of may month and happens once in a year. Exam would be moderate. Faster counselling process and admission process.

Faculty

4

Theory class ratio is 1:150 and for practicals it's 1:50. Faculties use both power point presentation and black board while teaching. Seminar, fish bowl teaching, group learning all have been done. Teachers are very easy to approach any time even through whatsapp.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college strictly follows NMC rules and which is a very good thing as it helps us prepare for both theory and practical as theory give u the vast knowledge and practical allows us to imply what we learnt and also after the new rules of introducing histology we can also apply the idea of more creativity in a field a lot of creativity is yet to be unfolded they also cover important aspects through regular workshops and educate us with guest lectures from other colleges the important improvement which should be done is having the patience to teach a. Crowd of 250 which teachers should undergo special 2-3 classes to make sure they know what they teach is being reached out to everyone the timing of exam and everything is on time theh give us enough time to prepare and get ready
