My college experience

It is one of the best college in madurai and they have very good management standard. I want future students to choose their engineering course in this institution.

I joined this college through Tamilnadu Engineering admissions (TNEA). I got 185/200 cutoff mark. I choose this college, as it is one of the best college of tamilnadu and I live in madurai. I choose civil engineering was my own decision and interest on the subject and I also had other option during counceling.

Civil Enginnering has problem and theory based subjects and they are main part of civil such as design, structural analysis, environment, etc .

In our college stipend is offered by many companies such as Infosys, zoho, honeywell, HCL, Tcs, Cts. These company offered stipend for internship. They offered Rs.10,000 stipend each month.

Placements & job opportunities are good in our college. Companies like Zoho, Honeywell, Tvs, amazon, Infosys, Google, CTS, Microsoft, TCS, Maruti suzuki, LNT. Package offered Zoho-4.5, Amazon-9, CTS-4.2, Infosys-5.5

Symposium & workshop is conducted every year in our college. Many colleges in tamilnadu participates in our technical symposium and workshop. Cultural events are also celebrated once in a year. Our cultural and technical festivals have a huge partcipation due to our quality standards of our college and popularity of our college over tamilnadu.

Tution fees- Government quota-Rs.40,000, Management quota-Rs.80,000. Bus fees-Rs.14,000 (17 Kms). Hostel fees-7000 per month. This fee stucture is feasible.

Scholarship is provided for top rank holders. Loan facility is not offered in our college, you can access our near banks for loan. I did not availed any scholarship as I got only cgpa of 7/10.

It has a excellent infrastucture and the campus life is full of excitement in terms of engineering and extracurricular activities, sports, labs and many competitions in our campus and we also receive other college competitions. Sports like cricket, volleyball, Football, Tennis, etc are available in our college.

Seniors are friendly and ragging is not permitted in this college. I had friendly relation with seniors and they also helped in my studies. We use to have lunch together by sharing among each other in the canteen.

It is affliated to Anna University approved by All IndiaCouncil for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi. Exam stucture is based on annauniversity.Each semester has 3 internals. Class test is also considered for internal marks.
