The campus of college is the best with many trees around

Course Curriculum Overview

From 2019 batch, CBME curriculum has been introduced which focuses mainly on problem based learning and includes more clinical postings from 1st year. We students hence get more acquainted to clinics since day 1.

Internship is provided in the college itself after passing final year of the academic year . Internship is of 365 days and stipend is also given . After completing internship degree is given to everyone

Fees and Financial Aid

For the year which I took admission in , fees for open category were 8,15,000 and scholarship is available on the basis of categories. Also, based on family income scholarships are provided. Internship is provided in the college itself for 365 days viz paid.

Campus Life

The Annual fest is conducted every year in college campus itself. The Library is too good and most if the books are available in library. Some clubs are being run in the college and students can participate .

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are available in the college campus. Hostel fees are 45000 for three shared room. Even two and one seated rooms are available . Mess is present in campus and one can choose the mess. Quality of food in good

One shall pass 12th class and has qualified neet with good score same as ir more than the cutoff of college. Once neet results are declared counseling is started and the forms are available. Colleges are chosen according to priorities

All the faculties are selected on a specific criteria. Their approach to teaching and mentorship is good. All the faculties interact well with students and the sessions taken by them are interactive too.

The campus is decent. There is turf for playing cricket football and all. Hostels rooms are good, well some of them are. Cleaning is done every alternate day by the cleaning staff that’s a good part
The college building is not the best but not the worst. Teaching is like every other college of you pay attention you can study in class else you are on your own. There is a library and 2 reading halls, one for discussion and one for individual read
Best thing about college would be the departments are really chill about the attendance. If you are low on it they’ll let you compensate. But do try to attend whenever you can😁

Dislikes

Mess is really bad. There are limited options available apart from the hostel food and those options aren’t really good either
Department’s labs need improvement there is shortage of microscopes and the ones that are already there doesn’t work especially in the microbiology department

Academic is best regarding super faculties
Clubs are best and has a registered mountaineering academy.

Small class size allows for individual attention and equal opportunity
Decent location, close to mumbai and thane
Good patient load, good exposure to cases

Dislikes

High patient load and small batch size makes internship very tiring and hectic compared to other colleges
Current administration is not supportive of extra curricular and co curricular activities like exchange programs and fests
Poor research culture, very few opportunities to do good research

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is standard for all MBBS courses. There are theory lectures and practical classes. Hospital exposure begins in the second year onwards. Current revisions in the course like introduction of logbook etc are unnecessary and time consuming.

Faculty expertise and Teaching quality most teachers are from other Institute of National Importance (INIs)
Campus life and social interaction. The boys:girls ratio in my batch is 4:1
Events and Fest- The grand fest HALLUCIA and events of every culture

Dislikes

Gender ratio is 4:1 which is very less for an INI
Academic pressure is too much. Students are overburdened with the academics here.
Music room is very small and instruments are less. Fundraising here is needed at this hour.

The curiculum well verses students to deal with every kind of cases and complaints patient comes with. Exams are held almost every 3-4 months which makes the student prepare for real life scenarios by giving clinical vignettes.

Positive: The college's infrastructure is really good. Negative: Being a private medical college, a lot of money is charged and they even earn extra money by charging unnecessary numerous times, very expensive admission forms and other expenses.
