Campus is very beautiful.Sports facility are quite good when compared to other colleges like scmhrd,sibm pune 2 badminton courts are there
Dedicated placement week is there in irma very few top tier institute have that mostly its on a rolling process
In most of the case study competition irma is eligible

Dislikes

Live projects that come to the campus are not good
ROLES OFFERED IN IRMA ARE NOT MUCH DIVERSIFIED LIKE OTHER NEW IIMS
Very few analytics course is offered in irma

Course Curriculum Overview

Course circullum in irma needs to improved i feel .as the course like analytics offered are very less.Like this year tehy are offering machine learning course for the first in irma.But it it can be improved especially operations courses it is taught at the base level

Internships Opportunities

So internship opportunities mainly lie in the development sector and fmcg sector,very few are there form fmcd sector this year it was v guard.And analytics intermship are around 4-5 roles.And you find many comapnies in the agri input domain

Placement Experience

So usulally in irma you find companies paying 10 to 11 lakhs as fixed and the variable pay is around 3 lakhs so most of the studemts in irma you will find lie in the range of 14-16 lakhs rupees.Minimum is 9 lakhs mostly all is fixed

Fees and Financial Aid

So ya 20 scholarship is provided each year based on the marks like the top scoreres get the 50 percent tution fee waiver it comes around 3.2 lakhs.12 students get 100 percent scholarship so 100 percent tutuon fee is waived off.

Campus Life

So the library of irma is quite good you have the access of euromonitor india stats clubs is irma are mostly dead you not find lot of activities take place.So like in irma we have iram volleyball league,irma foot league.so sports is quite active in irma.

Hostel Facilities

So hostel facilities overall is quite good in orma you get single room.Cooler is allowed for summers.Washing machine is not there in the hostels new hostels in irma are very good .House keeping is quite good everyfmday your room gets cleamed

Hostel Fee: INR 62417 per year

Admission

So they have owat round and interview.interview has almost 35 percent weitage and this year for general the cutoff was 85 percentiles, and for the obc category it was 79 percentile for the sc and st category it is around 65 percentile to 70 percentile

Faculty

So in irma the faculties are quite approachable most of the faculties are humble.When it come to student to teacher ratio it is 6:1 which is quite good.New faculties are recruited in large number.Old faculties in irma are very good.

Interview Experience

Yes interview round was there in irma most rhe questions revolved around the my future goals and how irma aligns to it.So in ir.a we have owat round in that a photo is given and you have to write the description about in 30 minutes

I did not like ahmedabad dranage system because of that we facing of water problem in rainy season

All the student are placed in a collage the placement percentage is 100% . more than 100+ companyes are come for placement soo that all the student are plced and get ther dream job for working proffesion . After summer internship program the company are start coming for a placement

bussiness driven acedemics they teach exel, ppt, managerial behavior
mentor session every week in this they focus on student's personal growth

Dislikes

area like this based in shale ahmedabad where little rain can stop or affect the transportation

im persuing the colledge not get placed yet our seniour placements started and 30% palcements are done in their 3rd samister and every after 2-3 days someone comes from seniour to give the sweet for their celebartion on placement

Likes

Strong emphasis on real-world, practical applications over just theory.
The daily class timetable is well structured and very student friendly.
Many Clubs for Sports, and Extra Curricular activities.

Dislikes

The on campus drainage system is poor, leading to waterlogging during rains.
The mess lacks experienced cooks to properly preaire non-Gujrati food for students from other staters.
Location is far from city, so significant travel just for basics.

Placement Experience:

Placements of SBS are Good In terms of Long Term Exposure in the Industry. Students become Eligible for Campuse Placements after 5 Semester in SBS. Since I have recently Joined the SBS List of Companies Visted and No of offers they have made are unknown to me.

A great start to my PGDM journey

Likes

I like the friendly and comfortable environment. Here you can interact with students and others
Faculty members are supportive They give us opportunities to interact and ask questions during sessions.
I like the campus and the activities conducted for students They give us opportunities to learn Outside regular classes

Dislikes

One thing that needs to be approved as waterlogging during rainy season because water gets collected around the campus and it gets difficult for the students to move around comfortably, specially for hostel students
Sometimes the schedule can get tiring back-to-back classes in sessions
I feel there should be more space for students in campus during breaks. They can go sit and learn their.

The curriculum is relevant to management and covers different areas that are useful for a PGDM student. It includes classroom learning along with practical activities. it is useful for understanding real world concepts. so far, I find the course structure Interesting and helpful

there is a faculty is very supportive and always ready to guide students academically
the curriculum is practical and includes case studies , presentations those help me developing real world business skill
placement cell also provides training and support for internship and final placements

Dislikes

college sports facilities are less also the monsoon season some we are face some of problems

The campus is located far from central ahmedabad along the SP Ring road.

The faculty members are helpful and explain the topics in a simple and practical way.
The campus environment is good, with useful facilities and a comfortable learning atmosphere.
The college provides good placement support and helps students improve their professional skills.

Dislikes

The academic schedule is sometimes very busy, which gives students less free time.
There are many assignments and presentations, which can become difficult to manage sometimes.
Some campus facilities can be improved further to make student life more comfortable.

The palcement oppotunities Many companies visit the campus and offer jobs area like marketing, finance, HR and sales. The college also provide palcements training, interview prepration and guideance to students. The salary package depends on the comapny, job role and student performance.

The IRMAn experience

I belong to general category my cat percentile was 91% and I had converted in the first shortlist itself. The application will be released short after the CAT results on Irma website. Cat exam is conducted a year then the application received and cut off is issued and thereafter there is a Online written ability test and Interview which is now conducted offline.
