Course Curriculum Overview

Course is quite niche and only 20000 avg people fill the form and acceptance rate is 100%. If you are planning to do HM consider getting a higher rank adn top colleges. Teaching practices and methedology of nearly all IHMs are good and at par with industry standards.

Class Size: 257Course Fees: INR 480000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Roi is good For Ihms, Nearly 1x if you are among top 50 percentile. while a lot of stdents struggle as well to get a job at the end. Placement assistance is good. Financial assustance as per GOVT NORMS applicable, but no assistance from college.

Campus Life

Good Campus life at IHM Hyerabad. Small campus doesn't allow too much of sports activities. But Clubs organize several outdoor activites. A lot of events keep on happening, dont miss Gala dinner, and Food fest. IHM H Budding professional is also a great competition that happens on vampus. Must participate in all these activites.

Admission

You have to give NCHM-CT JEE exam, Earlier IGNOU but now JNU is partner university to provide this course. Top colleges are Pusa, Hyderabad, Banglore, Chennai and Bhopal. Dont go for kolkata one. Yes, Reservation benefits are there!

Faculty

Highly Experienced faculty members and Principal is good. Student teacher sattion is 50 for practicals and 80+ for theory classes. Small campus has its own restrictions. Teavhers are approachable and open to every doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I decided to choose this course because I'm passionate about delivering service. I like to work in 5-Star hotels. The curriculum prepared me really well to face this world. There are no areas left for improvement because course curriculum is designed really well. Teaching methods are excellent and really develop our interpersonal skills. The frequency is quite moderate and timings were suitable with good gaps to study inbetween exams.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is good . In fourth semester students become eligible for campus placement. The companies visits for our course is the Taj palace, EROS entertainment, crown plaza etc. The offer made to most of the students. The highest package is 18LPA and average pakage is 6LPA. The profiles offered are executive, person in sales, front office etc. Almost 9/10 students get placed in our college. After getting degree I plan to work with a good hotel chain.

After the 5th semester when you clear the exams you are eligible for the campus placement and after that companies come to our college for the recruitment drive and people are getting direct it for that company is which visited were like you can say Devyani international Domino's Leela palace Taj Novotel crown plaza that is under IHG and some other retail companies like the aditya birla, highest package I would say it would be around 10 to 12 lacs or 15 lakh and lowest would be you can say 2-2.5 lkhs students getting placements were around I could say 70% because 30% some didn't want the job and some were not capable for that, my plans like I need a good job and to study further
