Likes

I liked the Security System for students in the campus and the kind of support that each and every guard provide is unmatchable.
The thing that I liked about IIT ISM is that it have specifically lady guards for the security of girls in the hostel.
I also liked the environment of the college that is totally greenish place with high technologies and great infrastructures.

Dislikes

One thing maybe i didn't like that here the Cricket team is not for girls. I tried several times but I didn't get any courage to play.
It is getting hard to thing of something that I have disliked about the college but I found that not every of the classroom have AC only some of them have it.
Another thing that i disliked is the girls hostel is far away from the our daily classroom buildings that's why it's somehow difficult for girls to reach class on time in summers especially.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum here have variety in it and that is the great thing here. Means if you are from a not tech branch then you'll have the opportunity to explore the tech branch via the option of ESO and OE or vise-versa.

Placement Experience

After the 7th sem we are eligible get placements interviews and OLT rounds. The number the tech companies are high as compared to non tech companies like designing which hire designers. The number of students getting placed is not good actually but if a person is working really hard then it will be great here.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a facility of MCM scholarship that a category student can fill up and there are various kind of scholarship that out college provides depending on the students performance, background, etc. And we have our internship and placement opportunities as well. After the 4th semester mostly we are provided with the internship opportunities.

Campus Life

Campus life is overall great. The kind of exposure one can get here is pleasing. There are various kinds of fest that are conducted here like Srijan (cultural fest), Concetto (technical fest). These are the best way to enjoy your college life.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities in the room are , we have shared room with one room mate and we are provided with two fans, two Almira, two windows. And the pantry area I also very maintained and clears come twice a day to clean the hostel daily.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Admission

Talking about the Eligibility criteria for IIT ISM Dhanbad is decent means if you are aiming to get a great tech branch like Computer Science and Engineering, you should have a great JEE advanced rank.

Faculty

Most of the Faculty members of IIT ISM Dhanbad have much qualifications to open our emerging minds and think out of box. I think that the Faculty to Student ratio should not be more than a reasonable number. Here in IIT ISM Dhanbad, the reachability of professors are pretty good. They are very friendly and provide is a space with welcoming nature.

Name of the company I forgot but nvidia amazon comes each year and take some students Paypal offered 4 students 28 lpa and Swiggy gave 2 students 35 lpa Nvidia gave 2 students 25 lpa Highest package data is not out as of now Avg is good this year I guess it's was 12-13 lpa Percentage is I guess reality 60/150

Raw and real side of NIT JSR

Placement Experience:

One of the major advantage of my college is it's placement percentage and average package. For my branch placement percentage is our 80% and average package of my branch is 16.5 lpa this year. Highest package last year was of 1.44 crore from a company rubirik. I plan to work in a semiconductor manufacturing company like Texas instruments and qualcomm.

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

A Real Student Experience at DEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

A Comprehensive Journey

Placement Experience:

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.

All You need to know about IIT(ISM) Dhanbad

As this is an IIT, To get admission here Firstly You have to take the JEE mains exam. At our time there used to be 4 rounds of the JEE Mains exam and Your maximum percentile among all 4 would be considered for a cutoff It was around 90% and to be eligible for give JEE advance Exam. The JEE advance exam happened in July, and its results were also released in August. After Qualifying JEE Advanced exam too you have to go through JOSSA counselling. In JOSSA counselling you have to give your list of colleges priority wise and you will be allotted college based on your AIR. After JOSSA counseling of 6 rounds, you will be allotted a college and then you will receive an offer letter from a college. For me, at IIT Dhanbad after taking admission firstly we were introduced to college through an orientation session with our respected director.
