- Hostel rooms are good as they provide attached bathroom and balcony with water and electricity 24×7
- Guard are ok 😀not so many restrictions for boys little bit restrictions for girls as per ther the safety it's required
- Some of the faculties are so good that they will help in any situation
Dislikes
- You have to attend the class atlist if you don't want to study just go and sit for the attandance
- Hostel warden is too khadus he always come to my room and take snakes without asking me.
- Canteen food is not so ok as the no of students increased they will add as much of potato and water make it available for all
Course Curriculum Overview
As I was admitted under Biju Patnaik University so our curriculum was planned by Biju Patnaik University Rourkela odisha. But now it's autonomous so I don't know much about the autonomous batch but I know they take ?500 for reappearing/ reaching per paper until and unless you passed it.
Placement Experience
For 2024 batch as a reaction was going on so no big company came 3-4 company came but zero selection. Some new startup came and taken the students at 2-5Lpa with some 2-3 year bond so over all 40% placement for CSE 20%for ECE/electrical &10% for mechanical and civil respectively. Placement officer are no such active they just picking up the company through different job portal.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is fixed for all the year only some variable amount they increase which is very minimal University registration fees is not included they changed every year . Scholarship are there for 9 pinters in every respect year just go to scholarship cell and submit the proof they will deduct the scholarship amount from college fees
Campus Life
I am COVID batch means my 1st year is totally online for one month and ofline for one month this continues till 3rd sem so I can say a word told by principal at hostel that health is more precious than studies so take care of your health wherever you feel safe no issues of attandance. So the principal is good enough No culture activity for 1&2 yr because of COVID restrictions but at 3rd year everything started musical night games hackathon etc. In weekly you have Sunday holiday and Thursdays as a hobby class for last 2 hr so different types of trainers will come to guide. Sunday outing for hostel students. No ragging because of strict Dean and admin. They are retired persons from police and defence line.
Admission
Admition process is very simple Appear any of the one (Ojee/jee) Fill the college from from any source with 5000 as a deposit which further deducted in fees They will call and connect with the students for the further process Reporting + accessories+ final confirmation They also provide huge amount to study who referred there friends. So admission is easy but restrict to time limit
Faculty
Maximum faculty are youngsters those who are doing there PhD in there perticular speciation, some of them are permanent staff but they are least interested in studies. Not so knowledgeable as they are also a student from some local college, only for the experience they joined GIFT and left after PhD

Actually I was more interested to join merchant Navy but dut to some family problems and COVID 19 situation I have no other option at the end I joined GIFT as they don't have such criteria of admission you must have only one of them ( Ojee/Jee)
