Course Curriculum Overview

2

I didn't really wanted to take ETC branch , I had to take admission forcefully , Etc is not at all a good branch as far as in this College. The mid Exams are not conducted fairly ,they're just conducted to show the proof to the university. Teaching should be improved specially in 2nd year or ETC , the first year teaching staff is excellent,as soon as the students come in their respective branch the teaching level decreases

Placement Experience

1

Their is placenment in the college but the package is very low , for CSE and AIDS placements are everage ,but for branches lower than those the placement package decreases. The average package is 2.5 LPA which is considered a very low package.Off campus interviews are the only options for students

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 86500/- per year which we can pay through the scholarship we've applied The good thing is that, girls in this college can get a scholarship called lila puna waala which provides up to 50000/- scholarship. The tuition fees is not at all valid for our branch , some teachers don't teach that much we pay for Tution fees

Campus Life

0.5

The campus life is very boring, very few events are conducted here ,the annual program not at all enjoyable. The teachers always interfere while students enjoying , the college staff is of very mean thoughts about boys and girls thing

Admission

10th pass ,12th from PCM/PCMB the cutoff for admission is very low , it goes up to 60-65 percentile for branches like CSE and AIDS , whereas for Lower branches it sticks to 30-40 percentile or even low . As it is a minority college Muslims can get admission here easily . Some students even get admission based on their relations with the department staff , with low marks.

Faculty

2

The faculty isn't cooperative at all, they don't cover even 70% or 60% syllabus. The teaching is not good except Some teachers . We can interact with the teacher often but it's not helpful at all.Teacher gives useful suggestions

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. I'm planning for higher degree (mtech)

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.
