Course Curriculum Overview

Best curriculum, with updated, current topics, The teaching method also helpful in hand practice after the course . They give Seminar, assignment, assessment to test the understanding of students,. 3 hours of exam duration for 100 marks

Internship based on contract basis, they hire fresher if there is any recruitment for ongoing process,and for final year students it's compulsory internship to complete their course. So frequent opportunities are available for internship

Class 12th should be completed with 50% marks Admission based on NEET score Application through Jipmer website Counselling is offline I didn't like the counselling process based on roster points and also reservation provided by Jipmer . Minimum cutoff of 450+ required,it increases based on competition

More number of junior residents and senior resident, professor, Hod, are there to assist us Their teachings is extraordinary, very knowledgeable, patience resolve doubts. Individual attention is given to every student

Does Jipmer have BSc courses?

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc Anesthesia technology because I liked to work in operation theatres rather than in wards. 3 tests( internal assessments )are conducted every 3 month ( with the portions covered till the 3 months of duration)and 20 % from each is accounted for the final examination. A model exam is conducted at the end of 3 tests and 20 % from this is taken for the finals. The final examination accounts for 60% and the remaining 40% are considered from the above mentioned tests. A 75% mandatory attendance is required overall to appear in the final examination. And if it is less than 75% the student is detained for the particular subject in which he/she has low attendance % and is allowed to write the exams (3 tests + 1 model exam + finals ) with more than 75% attendance. Teaching is professionally done by the professors, JRs & SRs of Jipmer. Classes are taken in the Jipmer academic centre for the first year and for the next 2 years classes are taken by your departments we chose.

JIPMER

I also applied for ayurveda in kottakal arya vaidya sala and got a seat but I preferred studying in jipmer for a paramedical course rather than doing ayurveda. Jipmer is the second best medical college in India after aiims Delhi . The admission process here is quite different . A rank list would be published once you apply and there is an offline counselling where you have to come in person and choose the course you want according to your rank...Read More

JIPMER: Above and Beyond

I applied for AIIMS Delhi but I didn't get an admission because my AIR was 100. My second choice was JIPMER and I got into here. For admission into JIPMER, like any other medical college you are required to write the NEET UG exam and based upon your rank you can get admission into the college of your choice. For admission into AHS, you are again required to write the NEET UG exam. In NEET I got 404 and i applied in jipmer bsc counseling session which was via the official website. I got selected and my jipmer rank was 98. There was no separate jipmer exam as such but earlier it was there. Offline counseling session was there .
