Likes

the first thing i like is our couse curriculum, it is a little bit challenging and vast. It focuses on strong theoretical foundation with practical applications.
secondly, the campus life is dashing, engaging and full of fun. There are many clubs, societies and events which focuses on a wide range of interests buliding a strong community.
faculty members are highly qualified and they come from various research backgrounds. We can do projects and research under their guidance. They are highly supportive and approchable.

Dislikes

the placement stats of some of the last years have disappointed me, they
the campus is too far from the city so whenever we have to go to city for some work we have to give our entire day for that
the quality of food in the capus mess and canteen is descent but still can be improved a lot

Course Curriculum Overview

It covers a wide range of subjecs ensuring a whole education. Practical components likelab work, projects, etc. helpus us in reducing the gap between the theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The only thing i don't like is the frequency and timing of exams.

Class Size: 105Course Fees: INR 147000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement statistics in the last few years are not that good in my campus. From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The average package is around 15 LPA and the highest package till now offered is around 80 LPA. This year around 65% students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

in some last years there is increase in the tution fees every academic year or after two years. Yes various scholarships are provided like refunding of money on the basis of annual family income, scholarships provided by NSP.

Campus Life

Promoteo is a tech-fest generally take place in January month, IGNUS is an annual fest generally take place in February month. And then there come our inter-hostels SPANDAN the most enjoyable time of the whole year.

Hostel Facilities

The room provided to us is a descent sized room having a bed, study table, an air conditioner, an almirah, a fan, etc. The meal is also descent but can be improved. No, i have not rented a room or a PG i am living in hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 47000 per year

Admission

The admission is on the basis of your rank you have scored in the JEE Advance. You can find the application form on NTA website. Yes there are reservations on the basis of category and economically too. Frequency of exams is high we have two minors and one major each semester.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty-to-student ratio is good. The low ratio means that classes are not overcrowded which will help in getting more personalized attention. Their teaching approach is providing theoritical knowledge and problem-solving. I personally had interacted many y=times with my faculty members, they are too approachable.

Placement of my college is decent for technical branches (Cs,It) it has decent but for core branches(petroleum, civil ) it has quite good placements. From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Highest package is 44Lpa and lowest is 3Lpa

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

A complete average College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum includes lab works, workshops and seminars. Which influence the choice to choose the course. But they are lacking to get hands on experience. Though they are guest lectures and seminar which is highly beneficial. Need to provide report on summer internship, industrial training, which is mandatory according to curriculum. Which helps in gaining hands on real life skills. But students still pass this barrier using fake certification and copied reports. And faculty is not strict about this. I believe the latest technologies which is not integrated in curriculum like AI/ ML ,recent frameworks , even if integrated not taughtd in depth. Like we have subjects AI , ML but no practical learning. Assignment are huge burden with little learning we need assessment that tests understanding rather than memorization. More subjects needed on softs skills especially in last year during placement season. Live project with company as all student are not able to land good internships. Frequency of exams like midterm( 2 in 3-4 months) ,practical( at the end of semester just after 2 nd midterm exam). End semester exams - 10-20 days after practical exams.

Placement Experience:

Placements at MIT are excellent and begin in the seventh semester. Our college attracts top tier companies and for the 2024 graduating batch. Major recruiters included Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Adobe, and Samsung. The placement statistics are very strong with the highest package being 52.28 lakhs per annum, the average package Being 14.5 lakhs per annum with over 95 percentage of students participating in the placement process My personal plan after getting my degree to join a leading tech firm as a software development engineer, I want to gain a few years of industry experience to apply the practical skills. I choose this college since this is most reputated college in india and IIT is dream of many students in india. I tried to many iits which are better than this but my jee advanced rank made me to come here this is the best affordable college for my rank in the jee advanced 2025 exam. The admission fees after getting admission is 3800 rupees. The cutoff of 2025 for my year is approximately 9000-9400 in all india. Iam proud to being an IITian. Glimpse of iit j

i have applied for IISER bhopal and my rank was enough to clear its cut off but the college was mostly research oriented and i was not intrested in it . i aplied for RVCE banglore it was a fantastic college and i was getting ece branch but i chose iit j beacuse it was a well known government college to get admission you have to secure a rank in JEE advanced exam and your branch is given on cutt of criteria if your AIR is between (100-12000) then you will get admission in iit j and diffrent cut off are made for reservation people...Read More
