Likes
- College attendance policy is very best, there is no 75% criteria but, if attendance is low than 75% then you have to score atleast C grade to pass the course.
- College culture, fest, clubs. If you join IIT jodhpur you are going to enjoy you 4year journey. Talking about clubs the technical clubs are excellent you will learn a lot from those clubs. Cultural clubs are also excellent.
- The course that are offered by the college is again a best thing you are not bound to do only you branch course but you can opt for minor degree in any other branch.
Dislikes
- College is in jodhpur Rajasthan, so in summers it going to be too hard to do any thing in day time. If you are living there I will suggest to be hydrated.
- Mess food is not that much adequate. But it is eatable.
- The campus is about 20 km far from the jodhpur city. So for marketing you are going to face some difficulty. Though there are bus facility but they are too much crowded.
Course Curriculum Overview
Each curriculum is designed in way like, you will find basic to advanced topics in each course. There are labs in most of the course will will make you ready for real world application. There are three exam of each course 2 minor and 1 major. You can expect 3 quizzes also before exams but number of quizzes depends on professor they can decrease or increase number of quizzes also.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies with many roles in different departments visit our college. The internship season starts from 5th semester. You can register on the college portal or college will notify you through mail. Companies of different roles like banking, software, core, psu, finance etc visits. You will also get chance of getting international internships like Japan, Australia etc. Stipend that you will get is likely to be industry standard and depends on your performance, efforts, project etc.
Placement Experience
The placement are good. You can apply for placement from your 6th semester. For my college highest package is 61 lakh as per 2023. And average is about 20 lakh per annum. For % placement of students getting placed various around different branches placement is best in CSE about 97% students are placed and for other branch you can expect 85% students are getting placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees=100000 Hostel fees= 7000 Mess fees= 19000 Semester fees=27000 Talking about scholarship 1. For sc/St students tution fees is 0 2. For general/ obc students if your parents income is less than 1 lakhs. For you also tution fees is 0. 3. For general obc students if your parents income is between 1lac to 5lac total of 2/3 to tution fees is off for you 4. For more than 5 lakh you have to pay whole fee.
Campus Life
There are various famous fastivals of my college, like ignus(cultural fest), prometio(tech fest), Aftab (literature fest), varchas(sports fest) intellia(inter departmental fest). Mostly fest happens in winters. The library is full of books you are going to find books of all courses. There is also a digital library which has again very large number of books than you find in library. If you don't find any book in library you will find it in online library. Sports facilities is extremely well. The facilities include both indoor and outdoor sports, like cricket, football, hockey, tennis, basketball etc
Hostel Facilities
I will say you are going to get best hostel facilities among all others college's. Single room, AC equipment will excellent lighting, fan and a personal almirah. Mess is good and proper quality check heppens after some days. You will get hostel as you board to the college You don't have to rent any pg you will have to stay in hostel because college is far away from city there is no pg available nearby.
Admission
Eligibility= you must need to qualify jee advanced. You can apply for this exam through NTA. Firstly you have to appear in jee main and then in jee advanced. These exams have reservations policy as all other government exam are. For obc you caste should must in the central list of obc. There is too much confusion that if your caste is in OBC in state list but not in central list then you will be considered as general student only. So must in the central list of obc on ncbc site. Admission process is everything online you need not to visit any office but yes before admission keep every document ready.
Faculty
The faculty members are highly qualified. All faculties are PhD's. I must say all faculties are too much cooperative and supportive, if you will ask for any help from they are definitely going to help you. If you face any difficulty in course just visit their office. They will definitely help you
