Course Curriculum Overview

As I am a Robotics and Automation student, I feel our curriculum is very vast.Hence it's difficult to cover or sum up all the things. Still our dear teacher Assoc.Prof. Dr Georgina miss is very keen to discuss about the robotics related stuffs happening all oberoi the world.She tools special efforts to provide us deep knowledge and creating great interest in this field.

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it is a private college it is expected to have a high amount in the course fee structure. I had to pay 80,000/- per year. As fees is concerned, the middle-class student cannot afford, he/she further has to take educational loans in order to survive.

Campus Life

Only 2 main events only took place in a year. One is Mudra , cultural fest held during April.Talented students can participate but don't expect you will get any medal or certificates.Sports hasn't conducted ,I don't knoe why . 2nd one is Advay , technical fest of our college which is conducted at May extravagantly .Only club is actively present is NSS

Admission

Application was available in online portal .Reservations were there based on caste, and special seats were there for high rank holders of 12th exam. Eligibility criteria was he /she had to qualify KEAM exam and pass mark of min 75% in 12th exam.

The teaching staff are quite good with their profession. They create a friendly atmosphere within the students. They are also very co-operative. Hence it make us student feel confident to ask any doubts related to the studies.

My journey at TIST

Placement Experience:

Students normally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (3rd year). TIST has ties with many companies that visit the campus for placement drives every year. Some of the known recruiters include: TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Aspire Systems, Birlasoft, ITC Infotech, South Indian Bank, HTC Global, Schneider Electric, Danfoss, Rikun and others.Highest Package: Up to around ?10 LPA Collegedunia Average Package: Around ?3–4 LPA for many companies. Campus placement is very good comparatively. Top MNCs like cognizant UST IBM Speridian KEC, Kaar tech expiron Zoho are hiring from our campus nearly 200 offers are there till date on this year. Highest ctc is 8 LPA.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.
