Likes

The ambience of the college is really nice.
The canteen food is good and everyday you can buy different food.
The fees structure is less as compared to other private colleges

Dislikes

I dont like the faculties and the way they teach.
Placement is very bad only very less people get

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very bad the faculties are very less knowledgeable. Some of them are friendly and some are really bad they sometimes use vulgar slags. The college needs to work on all the aspects.

Placement Experience

The percentage of students getting placed is very less. The minimum package is 350000 LPA and maximum is 550000LPA. Only small companies and startups come for recruitment. So the placements are also not very good.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure for the core branches are almostt 50k less than the CS. The college provides scholarships only availed by the government. The College does not provide any kind of internship they just want marks.

Campus Life

The college do have other co-curricular activities like cluds and we have our annual fest with includes cultural events and some tech events. We do have a big play ground but it is not in a good condition. And the college does not encourage sports.

Admission

The admission process is really easy and there are plenty seats for the core branches whereas there are limited seats for computer science. The course before the exams does not get over and recently over semester got over within 2 months

Faculty

There is a plenty amount of faculties. But the faculties do not teach well . They only hold a lot of degrees whereas they have zero knowledge. And there is always a problem with attendance. If you have attendance less than 75% then you will have to pay fine. And the faculties hold grudges againsts students.

Placements are like if u study its sure u will get a placement but if u got distracted and got in anything else so placement will not be urs.avg 6 8 Lpa,highest 55lpa but if u have heard of iter fraud news they just did fraud placements like by paying high amount of money to get in placement exam. many companies like TCS INFOSYS GOOGLE MICROSOFT ACCENTURE DELOITTE etc come every year. placement rate is 80 90%

TRUTH OF ITER

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for internship but after 4th sem the students are eligible for Plecement. More the 95% students get the placements. Highest package is aprox Rs.4300000 and lowest is 300000. My plan is for higher studies after getting degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate five out of five about the curriculum of the giet university because it is more updated in comparison of other universities of odisha. The exams are taken in the gap of one and a half month. There is no need to update the curriculum

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of this university is updated and they conduct regularly test. The timing for 2 cycle tests is about one and a half month and the semester exam is conducted after 2nd cycle test. The level of exam is quite good and anyone can secure Good marks if they try hard

ITER SOA is quite intimidating!!

Placement Experience:

IBM, Siemens, Philips and many other companies and even the chio makers and computer makers are also one of the main share holders in placements. For CSE department the average placements are of 15-20 lakhs but for our department the average drops down to 6 lakhs per annum.

A Engineering students lifestory

Trident is a private college and in 2021 it was the only college we could afford. In other hand i had another college silicon institute of technology in my mind but the admission fees was on a higher side. There is no such cutoffs in this college the only thing i know is you have to apper jee mains to apply in this college.
