Likes

Library is my favourite place in University. The central library is so spacious and it is always stuffed with people all the time the environment of Library is good too.It's good to go there and read books n all.
Many events are held in the university , it enhance the confidence of students and provide a stage to showcase there talent.
Also provide sports equipment to have some physical workout , conduct sports event too not only physical sports but online and mental games too.

Dislikes

Sometimes staff can be kind of rude and unresponsive towards our questions or queries.
Transport fees are charged to all students , even if the students are using there own vehicle or come to college by foot.
The cafeteria food is expensive regarding its taste n quality also there are always a hustle to find a chair to sit there.

Course Curriculum Overview

BBA with international accounting is the choice I made to start my own startup one day. The subject provided in the course are actually helpful and give us a wider view of how to market , start , networking , budgeting, funding for the busines etc. The exams are held in every quarter basis Mid term for one n half hr and End term for 3 hrs to say the exams are quite challenging.

Class Size: 1Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is provided on the basis of how much you scored in your 12th board. Overall fee structure is good. You also get concession of girl child , single parents, army kids and uttarakhand civilized. The fee can be paid on quarterly, half-yearly and yearly basis.

Campus Life

The campus life is quite fine . The university provides opportunities for those who are interested . Various clubs are there in almost all extracurricular sector and aspects be it singing , dancing , poetry , photography etc

Admission

The admission process was quite knowledgable in accordance to the campus idea and the basic idea that a freshman should be given before admission . However, the only drawback was that the process was timetaking .

Faculty

The faculty are good they are interactive and also have ears for your queries. The faculty are friendly to which make it easier to approach them. Apart from lesson regarding the subject they also give us insight of real world to,some tips on how to increase n improve the quality of our CV. They also reply to your messages, it may take time to get reply but they surely reply to you. They also help with notes and all.

Placement Experience:

in my course there is 3 year course which include 6semesters and in 5th semester the college placements will be started. i visited in times of india , reliance ltd, iclivia . the highest package is of 84.88lpa and the average package is 4 to 5lpa. the total percentage of students who are getting placements are 30 to 35% students. i want to do masters in managements also and after that i was ready to work in a multinational company.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards we were allowed to sit fir placements. Nestkeys , godrej were some of thr companies that visited for placement and i got offer from all of them. The packages were ranging from 2 lpa to 5 lpa to be precise excluding the fake ctc and all. Around 60% got the placement in my batch but were not satisfied with the package. The placements are quite low, there are no great companies are coming the packages are also quite low like for bba its 3-4 lac p.a For mba its 6-7 lac p.a. Not very good companies are coming for recruitment especially finance companies.

Life at Doon Business School

Placement Experience:

DBS is ranked 4th for the placements all over north India. More than 120 companies participated in the placement week. Around 90% of the students of my batch got placed in their dream companies. The top recruiters who participated in the week were Amazon, Paytm, Asian Paints, Dabur, upgrade, Dabur, Godrej. Highest CTC offered was Rs.6 LPA. Doon Business School, Dehradun is ranked 27 as per India Today's recent ranking this factor caught my attention while I was searching for good B.B.A colleges. I visited the official website of the college and click on the Admission tab. Then I filled the application form and created a log-in password. After logging-in, I filled all the required details and paid the application fee of 1,000 through credit card. I was also asked to submit my 12th marksheet scoring 75%. After getting a call from the college, I was selected on the basis of group discussion and personal interview.

Remarks:

Overall it's good the campus is awesome 1 thing i want to say for hostel. improve the outing system they only provide 2 hours outing and 3 hours. That's not enough as our college is far from the main city otherwise its good.

After 12 I applied for UIT college but that was not as good as Graphic Era Hill University,as the number of placement are high in Graphic Era and the fees is also affordable comparing with UIT bad the infrastructure is also better then that of UIT's.I cleared the percentage criteria of UIT also but by comparing both the colleges in these parameters I choose Graphic Era Hill University The admission procedure in graphic Era is by filling and getting qualified in CUET exam,only the selected students get the seat and also students can take admission on the basis of their class 12 percentage.The cutoff percentage to get admission in B.Tech computer science in Graphic Era Hill University is 80 percent below that the seat for B.Tech in computer science is not allowed....Read More

My Incredible College

I didn't apply for any other college. I chose this one because it was close to my house and is a really good college. It accepts many exams for admission.
