- Sometimes there may be some ruckus in the campus but the guards and the administration handles it very well
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is related to the contemporary industry requirements and follows the guidelines for Industry 5.0. The course is structured in a way that allows for holistic development. There are also humanitarian courses (History,economics,sociology and Law) taught in the first year for a basic understanding in the upcoming phases of our lives.
Internships Opportunities
Amity has a very big CRC (Corporate Resource Centre) that helps the students in availing internships in their preferred fields. Some companies may include New IngersollRand, IBM, Microsoft, etc. The projects there are mostly team projects to be completed during the summers.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college are fairly good, if you've worked on yourself for the tenure of your college life, you can expect a good package of more than 10 LPA, many notable companies like PAYTM and MagicBricks also visit the campus, more than 80% of students are placed from the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is on the higher end when compared to other universities, but the availability of scholarships from boards, JEE, AMITYJEE and CUET compensate for it, the scholarship is valid for the first year and can be continued from the students' merit. The fees does increase by 10-15% each year, the complete cost for B.Tech on average is at 12L-15L and there is also a one time security fee being taken at the time of admission
Campus Life
The campus life is very vibrant and vast, ranging from academic to cultural to sports on a very wide scale. Amity Youth Fest is the annual fest usually held in the month of march. Sangathan is the annual sports meet of the university held in the month of August each year, ending in the month of October. There are various clubs and societies that the students can be a part of, the facilities provided are also very good.
Admission
The admission process was very very smooth, I applied through my CUET score as it was the only way I could avail a scholarship. 100% scholarship is given for above 95 percentile, 50% for above 90 percentile and 25% for above 85 percentile. To register, simply go on the website and fill in basic details, the admission departments usually calls within a day, pay the fee and you're admitted. The process can be done fully online and within a day.
Faculty
The faculty are very well qualified and experienced, with almost all of them completing their Ph.D and having more than 10 years of teaching experience, they are very approachable for doubts and teach very well, timely assessments help us understand our flaws and the faculty helps us as well
