Course Curriculum Overview

DBAT UNIVERSITY focuses more on practical application curriculum rather than theoretical such as the curriculum consists of communication skills subject in first semester to enhance soft skills of students which might be usefull for them in workplace.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Altair Engineering, I CAP automation, Wisdom sprout are few of the companies that provide intership to students from college. Companies usually demand for a project but in some cases good skill set can be enough to qualify you for the internship.

Placement Experience

College provides 100 percent placements to the students who do not have any current backlogs. Last year highest placement package was 33 lpa. NCER placement is affiliated to PCET. 350 companies came last year for placement drives.

Fees and Financial Aid

NCER is eligible for all the scholarships provided by Maharashtra government(mahadbt). Basic fee structure 90000 per year with 3000 for University registration (only once). Fee structure of this college is affordable compared to colleges in the same cutoff class.

Campus Life

College has very poor campus(a single building). Internal infrastructure is also not so great. College has clubs for every stream(CS, mechanical, E&TC). Juniors are very well interactive with seniors through fests and hackathons.

Admission

I was admitted in this college through CAP rounds(MHT-CET). In 2023 college cutoff for CS branch was 78 percentile in CET. Going through CAP round process was very convenient and fast. Admission process finished within an hour when after CAP allotment.

Faculty

There is one teacher per 60 students for every subject, which is pretty good ratio. students can approach teachers at any given time and teachers tend too attend their queries and problems. Teachers are friendly and very well bonded with students.

As out batch is of 2024 Covid batch there has been no such placement occurred but after that the ratio has increased

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

I got the college through cap round in 2022 I wanted better college but my marks 77.14 in Mht-cet. For admission we have to take mht cet exam and apply through cap round, also there are management quota which for CSE cost 5 lakh rupees at least and full fees with no scholarship for rest of college. I have got 78 percentile in Mhtcet 2023 exam. In third cap round i got this college for cse branch. In my average percentile this collge is very good gor me also its under pcet. When i got selected in this college i immediately go to college i get addmision process done. First experience in college is like all addmision process is in one big hall. There are many section they have made for different things like form filling, cas counter, final sign etc. All teachers and staff members are very supportive and pollite. Hod of first year is very helpfull. All the things required for addmision process are there in that hall.
