Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen the computer science branch and I am happy with that. Even though its my first year of being in this college, I can say that I have attended many workshops in the cs branch in this year. And I am sure these activities will surely help students to apply it in there future career.

Internships Opportunities

I am currently during my first year of studies and haven't gone for any internships yet. But there are many opportunities available in this college for internships and placement.It even has a placement cell within the college, known as the skill development and placement cell.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has management, merit and nri seats available for admission. It offers many scholarship for the students including egrantz etc. In the year before the last, Out of 90 almost 83 students were placed I think(approx.)

Campus Life

The college has a very large campus but the campus itselt isn't that good. It has many clubs like iedc, ieee, nss etc. There is a decent sized ground for the students. All the tournament for football and cricket are managed by the students itself.

Hostel Facilities

Talking about the hostal facility, the college itself doesn't have any hostal building, they take some of the houses or building from outside and allot the students coming for admission to these hostals. The food and accommodation is decent.

Hostel Fee: INR 5300 per year

Admission

I got admission here through the keam entrance examination. After the second allotment the alloted students were asked to come to the college to take the admission. There are two series examination in a semester followed by the university exam.

Faculty

The most faculties in this college are really good and friendly. The faculties have good credentials and their approach to teaching and mentorship is really a thing to be appreciated. We can interact with teachers very often and you will be provided with the mentorship.

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.
