- the campus is very peaceful and is a good environment for studying.
- the placements are very good and the professors are very encouraging and support the students in every aspect possible
Dislikes
- there isn't anything that i particularly dislike about the college.but the only thing i find challenging about the college is that the criteria for qualifying for the college is very high.
Course Curriculum Overview :
the course curriculum of biochemistry was personally handpicked by the Head of the Department and the curriculum is very effective for students who aim for higher studies.be it theoretical or practical knowledge the curriculum is perfect. the curriculum aims for the students to not only excel in theoretical prospect but also in practical prospects.
Internships Opportunities :
the college has severalprivat labs in the university that have signed a MoU with the college in order to provide the students with better internship oppurtunities. students can go for any internship they desire and the HOD will give a personal recommendation letter for ease of admission
Placement Experience :
the university provides decent placements in famous pharma companies or some educational institutions. but even then if you don't like the offer, biochemistry has a wide range of employement scope. altough the scope for biochemistry is low in india , it is actually a very good course. the individuals can opt for any phharma companies, educational institutions, research, diagnostic labs
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the fee structure also depends on the reank the individual has secured in the entrance examination. individuals who have scored a high rank will have to pay a sum amount of 24,200 ; while the students with moderate ranks have to pay 52,200 ; also there is a mnagement quota for students that didn't meet the criteria for admission but are willing to study in the college they have to pay a sum amount of 80,000 there will be no fee hike throughout the course duration. this is excluding the examination fee that is to be paid for every semester as for the examination fee , students have to pas an approximate of 1,500 rupees if the student is eligible for any government scholarships , then there can be a partial reduction or total reduction in the fee depending on the scholarship amount. i have yet to parttake in any placement , but as far as i know the campus provides good employement from famous pharma companies, with an average of 2.7-3L package
Campus Life :
the campus life is very exciting and very good in the university the university employs an ANTI-RAGGING POLICY which isn't just words but also true due to this policy the campus life is very good at the start of every academic year there is a freshers fest for the new students and a farewll at the end of the academic year for the pass-out candidates. excluding these the college conducts sports competitions on the national science day every year and every department has it's own annual day celebrations and students acn actively participate in them.
Admission :
in order to admit into the course, the individual has to write an entrance exam called APPGCET , where the individual can select the respective desired colleges with the desired course. the colleges draft out the received applications based on the rank every individual has secured in the entrance examination and the fee will be decided based on your rank. for students with high ranks they are taken under the REGULAR category which implies that the student has passed the criteria for students with moderate ranks they are taken under he category of SELF-FINANCE which implies that the student has came near to the criteria but couldn't pass it, they have to pay amount more than the regular students there is also a category for students that did even come close to the criteria, but are willing to spend even higher amounts for admission, that is the SELF-SUPPORT category
Faculty :
the faculty is more than qualified to teach. all the professors are qualified with PhDs and M.PHIL even the scholars that are pursuing their PhD are well experienced in teaching and research. all the teachers are well experienced. the professors have done so many researches and some even have patents filed on their names. Andhra University provides the best education for the students and aslo helps in their researches.
