What Students Say

Likes

The Faculty of science and humanities I like the most. Well Qualified Teachers are their in the university.
The fest of the university. Well known celebrities are invited.
The promotion towards sports. Poorima promoted sports and give extra scholarship to sports quota.

Dislikes

I don't like the administration of the university. Every things regarding administration is always delayed.
The Hygiene as too much construction is going on in the university. They don't clean classroom again and again.
I don't like the strictness towards paying fees. As a person might be late in payment of fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to pursue my career in economics. So I choose the course. I liked the syllabus and teachings of poornima. It is well defined. Exams are held almost every month in the university. Sometimes it becomes irritating.

Campus himself provide intership in the university. Paid intership are also given to the students in the campus. Well known companies provide intership in the universities. It almost start from the second year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The affordability is good. The fees of the course is very low as compared to other universities. It's almost half in fees as compared to other universities. Even in that they also provide scholarship on tution fees.

Campus Life

The campus is good. Almost every sports is provided in the university. Separate grind is available for every game. But the university mainly promotes American football in the university as Poornima panthers.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fees is around 117000. The facilities is good in the hostel. Double,single occupancy are given in the hostel. Fan, air conditioner and sir cooling rooms are available. The fees of air conditioner is around 135000.

Admission

Admission process was very easy. Every thing is in the digital form. 3 round of scholarship are going on the university. You scholarship is given on criteria and early basis. The students earn more scholarship if they take admission early.

Faculty

The Faculty is well qualified. Very good in behaviour with the student. Faculty must be appreciated for their teachings. They make every complex things easier. Aashish sir of economics is my favourite.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am graduating in bachelor of arts in subject political ,Hindi literature ,economy and general Hindi compulsory in first semester and skill course Rajasthan Bhasha sahitya aur Sanskriti Skill course base on student him chooes himself. Main exam time in three hour . Exam sitting arrangement is good. Professor provide everyday newspaper and magazine because student learn current affair everyday. Library facility three books in one month then student choice to replace other books . Every student 3 token to give books. I college area fully safe and secure . College location Bhagat ki kothi railway station Jodhpur. College outside police station to provide safety and security.

last year studen t could go for placements , companies visited - vi , tata consultancy , miscrosoft , bsnl etc average package 4 lpa , highest i have seen is 7 lpa almost 20 percent student could get placements here , but usually didnot prefer to go to pursue higher studies or copetetive exams i will go for upsc after graduation

I have interest in arts from my primary class.It is very good subject also have a good opportunity in future as a teacher, social work and media.my passion for human culture and society also force me to select this course.yes this curriculum prepare me for a real world applications because it is related to case studies and intern. Student problem are solved with the help of practical in labs.it also help me to prepare for further academic pursuits it covers foundation and advance topics relate to high level studies. For improvement in course curriculum and teaching methods i should suggest regular update in technology and industry, make the topic clear learning ,give projects and case studies to students.teaching methods can be improved by group discussion, assignment ,use of proper teaching tools . According me semester exam are best for every student.semester exams will not give too much burden on Timming for each semester should be after 6 months.Difficulty level of exam should be wide.To check student thinking power and reasoning also a best topic to improve skills in students.
