An Overal Honest Review of the College

The college is affiliated to Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela. The overall course curriculum and course structure is old but effective. It lacks the modern syllabus. However, clear the concepts of engineering. This college fails to provide practical and hands on experience to the students.

There is no campus placement in the college. However, college allow students to take campus placement from other colleges and Samaj Office. And best things is that college arranges and sponsors the traveling cost for other colleges campus placement. There is placement cell present in the college which could be useful.

The overall course structure for batches upto 2023 freshers is 1,00,000 which includes the tution fees, hostel and canteen charges. For General/OBC with EWS, the Odisha government provides 20,000 to every student. In case of SC/STs, the Odisha Government provides more than 60,000 per year to every student. For SC/ST students with Non-CSE branches, 90% of the fees is covered in the scholarship. The fees is indeed affordable as you get everything in just 1 lakh rupees.

The annual festival and technical festivals are being planned to be held. The annual festivals are generally not held in the college. However, the college is developing day-by-day. This year, 2024, the college hold a grand annual function. Therefore, I would say the college is developing day-by-day and planning out new festival things.

Admission intake is available based on JEE and OJEE cutoffs. There is also minimum 42% required in +2/ 12th Board Examination. You can also take regular admission without JEE/OJEE counseling. College is open for every student seeking admission.

Only few faculty members are knowledgeable and highly qualified such as the Principal and Dean of the college. Otherwise, there are few faculty members with high knowledge and qualifications. Good thing about college is that it provides guest faculties for freshers in the subjects like Mathematics and English.
