Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum in Statistics Hons. is vast and covers all the topics related. Some of the topics are tough to understand so if you're weak at maths, maybe Statistics is not for you. It needs good logical knowledge. The exams are held on time.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee was 15,600 Rs. and 2500Rs. examination fees. we were asked to pay fees on an annual basis. There are scholarships available for economically weaker students. The scholarship amount can be different for everyone.

Campus Life

The college is equipped with high-class equipment and furniture. There are different societies like enactus, mukhauta, etc. Also, there is a gym in the college for students who are fitness freaks. Yoga classes are also provided. The library is good.

Admission

One must have mathematics and English as main subjects in the 12th class and should score more than 50 marks in each to be eligible. The cut-offs stopped at 83% for the general category in 2019. The first cutoff was around 94%.

Faculty

There is adequate amaount of teachers within each department. The teachers go by the book and dont move from the topic. they provide precise notes for each topic they teach in real time. The faculty is always there to help you out with any doubts.

A vibrant college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college

The Life at Ramjas College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested course. It's relevant to the exams in that particular field. The syllabus for life and other exams in this field. I think that there is a lack of actual real life practice in basic courses. If could be made more aligned to what we do in real life it would have been better. The exams are easy enough to pass by just studying one month before exams and submitting the internal assessments properly. There are end semester exams which gives enough time to prepare well.

Aryabhatta College (Delhi University), a new but hustling place

Course Curriculum Overview:

i believe CS hons is a decent course. The curriculum is however, very outdated. We are being taught several topics that have no relevance these days and they arent even taught properly. I believe a far better choice would be doing BTech instead since it has a better course and companies prefer that over BSc CS. In terms of preparing for the real world, i believe this course has no use since the most important parts we have to learn it ourselves. Exams are conducted once at the end of every semester (including practical and theory). However during the semesters, there are multiple tests taken to asses our knowledge regularly
