Course Curriculum Overview

The Course is the one provided by Nirf which is an Indian government body for checking the colleges and universities level throughout the country providing point. Veltech has 85+ and is into 100 colleges.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 192000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Micromax interview process on 23 April 2024, ISRO also, Cisco virtual internship program for 2025, 2026, and 2027. These are the available internships provided. Infosys and OpenAI also provide internships.

Placement Experience

The highest package ever was 44lpa from Amazon. Companies like Zoho, cognizant, TCS, Amazon, Cisco, JP Morgan, and PWC come to our college. International changes are also present in Taiwan. Off-campus is the option if unable to do so on campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure of the college is very simple, a scholarship named Mahatma Gandhi scholarship is given based on marks acquired in physics, chemistry and maths in 12th grade in higher secondary. My fees is 3lakhs but I have to pay 2lakhs.

Campus Life

More than 30 buildings are present in it colleges each containing atleast 2 to 3 floors. Some buildings having more than 100 rooms to accommodate students. Our campus holds a strength of 3000+ students this year and increasing. Some companies provide club activities like code atho club.

Hostel Facilities

3 hostels are there for boys and 2 for girls, distance is not a matter , bus facilities are present for all students for rs 4000 per semester. Hostel food is ok, 6 days chicken and egg , Saturday is a veg day

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

There are 3 stages of the exam for enrollment in this college, the first stage in January, the second in March and the third in July after that you have to pay donation fees to enter this college. The cutoff is 60% in PSC in 12th standard.

Faculty

Most faculties have master's as their qualification as it is the most common requirement. Doctorates are present in the place of power like head of department, course Coordinator and deans etc, some senior faculty also have doctorate.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

Firstly I haven't got good marks in my APEAMCET exam and next thing is I came to know that my relatives sons have also graduated from the Vel tech University.
