In 1st year, we study all the subjects as it is believed that an engineer must know basics of all fields. From 2nd year we study the subjects related to our branch, in my case computer engineering. They have a good curriculum and also focuses on real life experience. There are three mid sem test, out of which 2 best are taken and 1 end sem take place with some practicals as well.

There are many companies which come here giving many roles. Companies come from 3 Rd year atleast for now which even offer pre placement offers for students. As I am in 1st year I am not that much aware about project work required.

From 4th semester students become eligible for internships and pre placement offers. There are many companies such as DB, master card, and lot more, there are different- different offers, like the average of computer science is 10 lpa, the highest package offered is 31 lpa and min is 4.5 lpa.

There are tution fee facilities in which you have to give only half the fees that is decided during counseling only(MP-DTE). There are lots of scholarships as it is a government College, if you have more than 85 percent in cbse boards and 75 percent in icse and parents income is less than 8lpa than you can avail scholarships. Then you don't have to give any fee even hostel is free.

There are many fests which take place, such as madhya pradesh's largest fest "Akshank" take place in our college. Also many events on daily bases also take place, which helps in the overall personality development. There are many clubs which such as e cell, bas, etc

I have opted for hostel as it provides a lot of exposure to real world. Rooms are basic, study table and almirah are given, there are four rooms which have 4 students in them rest have 2. Washrooms are common. Mess is common for all the 4 years, menu is different everyday, the taste is also decent.

To get into this college you need to give JEE mains. Different branches have different cut-offs. Like to get into computer engineering course you need to get atleast 96 percentile or above. Least cut off is of civil branch which is 88 percentile approx.

Almost all the facilities are PhD holders. And even many teachers are same as of IIT Indore. As the campus of both used to be same before IIT Indore was made. Faculty is bit strict regarding academics, rest they are friendly and we can go clear our doubts. Also 80 students have 1 batch and in a branch there are 160, so 2 classes of same branch are divided.
