College Life In DU - Kunal Chaurasiya

First of all i want to study Computer science and there are many cources to do that . I prepared for JEE but didn't get succeed into that . And with that i also give CUET and choose DU for my UG . Here my first choice was CS hons but iin the top college like hansraj and hindu but didn't get that and also applied for Physical sciences with computer science . Finally I got Physical Science with computer science in Acharya Narendra Dev College Delhi university . This course is quite impressive. Here we have maths , physics and computer science as my core subjects . Althrough from NEP this cource CS comptetes with B-tech CS students .

In my college the fee for PSCS students are 10915 for a year . There is no other service charges taken by the college but by delhi university we have to pay for examination fee which is around 1500-2000 per semester . There are many scholarship provided by the college which are full fee waiver for a achedmic year. There are many things to do in delhi university like there is a Fest in each colleges of DU . For the conduct of the fest there are activities like organizing that event , participating in the fests.

The academic session of delhi university starts in August. In the starting day colleges organized orientation sesson to introduce about the facilities provided by the college First in from first weak of october ther is Fit India Sports League which is held in all the DU colleges . This is going for around 1 months . All types of sports are organized by the colleges like cricket , Basket Ball , Football etc.. As the Navratris are begun the colleges organized a Dandiya nights for students . As Diwali is near they organized Diwali mela. Ater that exams are begun . In the library of the college there are many books available for the students like there is sections of books dedicated to the cources . All types of books yoou can access here . You csn also issue books to take it home for a specific period . In the class room you see projectors And in the lab you are provided all the facilities which are used. There is a Web center for students who have not laptops .

for enrolling in delhi university or any other university we have to give first CUET exam after class 12th . After the result of CUET i applied for DC CSAS ( Common Seat Allocation System ) in which i selected the cource and colleges as of my preference . And in the first round of CSAS i got PSCS in AND college Delhi university . As for enrolling in that cource we have to appear in cuet with Maths , Physics and Chemistry/ Computer science and one of the language . The cutoff for that vary according to caste reservetions .

There are some teachers who has done their post graduation from IITs like our maths teacher she has done pg from IIT Delhi and one of our CS teacher done MTech in CS from IIT Bombay. I don't know exactly about the faculty to students ratio but they are very cooperative with us . We can ask anything from our teachers about what should we do after that what is good for us . As I say they are very cooperative with us we can ask anything from them after the clg also they always reply to our calls and texts . In my college there are more professors than associate professors.
