Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have always liked economics and political science because it made me feel more connected with the society. The curriculum helps us to analyse real world problem in more better way. The curriculum should reduce the theory and include some practical field experience in the curriculum. The exam difficult level is medium nor easy nor too difficult

Internships Opportunities

5

College placement provides different internship opportunities. I got internship in Need Base India- it is non profit organisation for one month. I conducted seminar on life skill and values. I learnt how to deal with different age group children.

Placement Experience

3.5

Student from the 5th sem are eligible to apply for college placement. There are many companies such as Deloitte, Tata consultancy, HSBC , Axis Bank, AXA business , House of web3, Federal Bank, D. E shaw India, Infosys, McKinsey and few more. Most companies were offering 4 lakhs package and higher package was 7 lakh . The percentage of Student getting placement is 35 percent. I am planning to write civil service exam

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fees have increased slightly after college got autonomous status. The total cost of my education was 135000 . The college provides merit scholarships and financial aid scholarships. I have not undertaken any campus employment

Campus Life

5

One of main college fest is Mayurika it is held mostly in the month of may . Other fest are Recipro , Athenia , Value week and few more. Every department have their own different annual fests . The college library have different type of books and they provide access to many research paper and journals. All the classroom in college have projectors. All the club in the college are managed by student coordinators and they organise all the club events.

Admission

The application form can collected from college or can be filled online. They take online exam for certain courses and offline interview of candidates for all courses for addmission process. The exam difficult level is medium. I think admission process is simple . They do provide reservation.

Faculty

4

The faculties are really experienced and they are expertise in teaching. One thing which I liked more in this college teacher are very approachable, when we need need any help or we have any doubt they are ready to help us. They always try motivate students to explore the opportunities and have new experiences. They have ideal faculty to student ratio. The teacher always adopt holistic approach to teach us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.
