Course Curriculum Overview

4

The NEP circular was regulated in my clg and my being the pilot batch to study with this road map, we had to choose any co curriculum along with all the specific and mandatory subjects , every curriculum filled with events fests comprising knowledge along with grace credits, all the exams the viva and everything needed to test the basics of the co curriculum is always on time and the marks are distributed as per the performance being the marking system just and impartial

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are available for all the students and especially for all the one lying in the category of sc ST, or any other backward class The fee structure is 12.5k, whereas the amount of fees for students coming from the other states and countries varied a little

Campus Life

3.5

There are many fests and events organised which helps the students engage more with each other and Acknowledge more about the campus life and campus habits, events such as astitva , troika , annubhuti and many more are some of the best events to participate in

Admission

The admission process for bcom course was entrance exam free from or for that particular year , whereas the other courses need an entrance exam. The admission process was quiet easy and fast from taking a token paper no. To going inside and choosing the specific major for the rest of the remaining years due to nep foundation, later on filing all the documents and paying the fees which makes your admission in the clg done. The eligibility and the cutt offs are very high and very difficult to get into as the first list comprises of students only from 100% to 98% and after that the second list from 98% to 96% which makes the admission in the clg abit difficult but overall if tried to take admission from the other backward class eligibility criteria then one can easily enter the clg also if any disability or any special case of the student is highlighted then one can also receive admission

Faculty

3

My college is known for its faculty and its approachability; on one side there lies new and experienced faculties and on one side there are well experienced old faculty members with all the info and great knowledge. But what makes them differ is how the new and tge old faculty members have the communication and interaction gap between the new generations. The approachability of my faculty is good and they are also punctual and very happening, sound faculty members who always answer to each and everyone's query regarding the campus or anything.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.
