The teaching method of faculties are good and they have leadership qualites
The college focuses on each Students skills and development
The college provides5-10 certification course and sessions for students to motivate them also they include industrial visit.

Dislikes

This is a girls college and the students don't get experience of co-ed college
Some teachers are not professional as they should be hould be
Attendance is mandatory atleast 75 percentage

The students of 6th semester are eligible for corporate internsgip The students of 8th semester are eligible for summer internship that is also corporate . Fees for students are according to their 12 th percentage and the college provides scholarship programme for the students of OBC ,STSC and more like this . The campus have placement for students and internships like social internship , summer internship and corporate internship .

The college organise SHIM JIGYASA FOR INTER SCHOOL LEVEL SHIM CARNIVAL FOR INTER COLLEGE LEVEL There are 8-9 clubs in college like Eco club CSR Club , Cultural Club , Spd club , sports club and many more for students personality development and there are many activities conducted by these clubs for all the students.

Admission

The admission process is very simple just filling out the form and do all the formalities. The facilities also provide a tour of campus and guidance with all the necessary information. The application for admission is available on the SHIM official site.

The teaching method of faculties are good and professional they try to explain everything to students help them to learn and grow. The teachers approach for students to take initiative in the classes All students can easily interact with faculties regarding and doubts and troubles

Placement Cell Sucks

Placement Experience:

The only thing which attracts any student towards any college is its placemets. And in our college the placement cell is divided for Design students and for Enginering and Management students. The Placement cell of Design department work very well, they really brings good companies and the students get placed even with high package, and the average package would be around 6 LPA. Where as the placement cell for Management as well as Engineering is not doing the work which a student expect for. The average package for Engineering student is around 5-6 LPA and average package for managemet student is even bad which is around 4-5 LPA.

Life at SHIM

The admission process was quite smooth, all steps involved in the procedure were explained clearly by the administration. Students have to appear in any national level management test like CMAT/CAT/MAT, no specific cut-off was mentioned by the college for admission, rather appearing in the exam was mandatory, and a marksheet of the same was required during admission process. I gave the CMAT exam, the process for which was similar to other management exams, i.e. registration when forms are released and then appearing for it on specified dates. The only issue, according to me, was that most of the information regarding the course was not available online and was rather made available at the institution itself, residing in the vicinity of the college, it was easy for me, but might be a hinderance for those from far away areas....Read More

Best College for an MBA aspirant in Bhopal
