Course Curriculum Overview
In my opinion, the course curriculum lacks practical approach to the learning experience and it would be much better if the curriculum gets updated with practical training programs along with the theoretical knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like IBM, Cognizant, Zomato, Microsoft, with the stipend range from 10000 to 20000. The projects include small team support, customer assistance, sales mapping and many more opportunities depending on the skills.
Fees and Financial Aid
As already mentioned, the tuition fee stands at 140000 per semester and I have no words to describe whether it is reasonable or not. However, apart from that, there is no hike in the fee structure. The complete cost for my education after the course ends, including all the fees and charges would stand at somewhere near 12 lakhs. Scholarships are offered on the performance of the students in the semester exams.
Campus Life
There is the Kamaraderi, the freshers event held in September followed by the multiple club coordinated events on the festive occasions, then we have the University fest in November-December. The classrooms are equipped with display boards for better learning. Sports and extra curriculars are actively supported by the college and the university.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms have 2 and 3 people accomodation options with the beds and bathroom facilities. The meal quality is good to excellent. Registration for hostel is done at the same time when paying for the fees of the first semester. And the hostel stands affordable.
Admission
The admission process consisted of an entrance exam, followed by a consultation call. The application can be found on the KIIT University website. The exam can be answered 3 times in a year in the first 2 quarters.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:60 and the teaching learning process is quite good. Constant communication between the students and the facilities make it much better. The faculties are well qualified, PhD holders, and skilled in their profiles.
