Course Curriculum Overview

2

I feel that curriculum of this college is little bit orthodox. When i saw the prospectus they wrote that they will focus on practical learning than theoretical learning so i took admission but the teachers focus more on theoretical learning. However their teaching methods are very good. The only improvement i want that they should update the curriculum and focus more on practical learning so the students become industry ready.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities are available in my college. many law aspirant does placement in summer vacations and extra time, they get paid for it. In internship the recruiter teaches us to manage the clients.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is no on campus placement for my courses but There is placements for BTECH students. The average package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Reliance, TCS, Infosys etc. The percentage of student who gets placement every year is 40%. My plans after getting degree is preparing for Civil Services exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is very affordable for this college and their is also reservation benefits for backward castes like SC/STs. Students also can avail the scholarship based on their academic performance. The tution fee for my course is 18000 rupees per year, excluding the other charges.

Campus Life

3

Overall experience is good but not completely satisfied. Events like fest, and sports event happens half yearly. The library is very good. All types of books available at library. Student gets a library card while taking admission which he can use to access the library. There is not much space for extracurricular activities but it happens rarely.

Admission

The admission process is simple for normal courses like B.A. , BSC, there is merit based admission. Application fees is just 100 rupess for all ug courses. For professional courses like B.Tech and BE admission are based on JEE mains score of the student.

Faculty

4

Their are 120 students in B.A. course divided in 4 sections of classrooms. Their are 1 teacher to every 20 students so the faculty to student ratio is 1:20. The teaching method of all the teachers are very good and unique they clear the doubts of each student. Any student can easily approach their respective faculty member for clearing their doubts. In weekend, doubt session is conducted for students as extra classes.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus placement. However the campus placement doesn't prove very helpful. Few people get placement from B.A courses. Students of B.Com and B.Sc are more likely to get placement.

Remarks:

Any of my siblings studied from this college which gave me a clear view of the environment of this college from the start. It was also very close to my home making it easier for me to commute daily. And as I always wanted to study in an all girls college, this seemed a better option. It had good faculty and infrastructure making it different from other colleges around.
