Chandigarh university provide a wade range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in various domains including engineering, law, pharmacy etch.
The university boosts state of the art infrastructure including well equipied labs, modern classroom etc.

Dislikes

With a large student personlized, there may be challenges in providing personlaized attention to each student.
While CU boosts a diverse faculty, experinced faculty and scholars, the quality of teaching may vary department to department .

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for my domain is preety related to my domain only. The faculty teaching method is very helpful for the students to understand the concept very easily which helps students to clear or the doubts related to the topic.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 90500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are not that good because you hve to find yourself and complete as my department follows so i know that much. Tpp students not able to do internship in 6 sem summer vacation beacuse of summer winning camp.

Placement Experience

After you complete 6 semester, you will be eligible for the placment drive. But here for able to be sit in the placment drive you have to choose Tpp which coasts extra 10,000 for eligiblity. They sharp you for job interviews.

Fees and Financial Aid

So, my disciple id BE-Biotechnology. the fee stucture is 90,500 per sem which is preety high for a middle class family but they provide scholarship so it is easy to pay off. Hostel is also available..

Campus Life

Campus life at CU offers a vibrant and dynaimc enivornment for the studetns to engage in various events.The univeristy encoruages the students to participate in various socail events and club interests.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is preety good . But the prices are higher as now ?1,20,000 per year. The menu and food is good and good for your healty no grease food. The hostel department will allocate the hostel for female or male separated.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

The admission process is easy. You just have to contact the website offical and you can get in touch with them for the admission related queries. You just have to give CUCET universities offical exam for the admission and scholarship.

Faculty

The faculty is highly ecperimeced and scholars post doc faculty in my department specially as i have seen,. About other department I dont have any clue. The faculty help students very faithfully in making their carrer.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

MBA students have 2 internships, one being chemical core internship, which is done after 3 year for 2 months which is not shifted to last semester of 4th year for 6 months. Apart from this, there is a 2 month internship for MBA part. Earlier it was 2 months but now it is, also 6 months in the last semester. MBA students gets their internships done, both paid and unpaid included. But for placements, that story is not so good.

Placement Experience:

the placements in the college are quite good , but one need to be consistent throughout the four years to get placement , the college brings a lot of companies in the campus and you can get a lot of opportunities throughout the four years. Student have to work very hard to get placement.

Chandigarh University - It can make you or break you

Placement Experience:

The placements are just average. Companies come everyday or everyweek. Placement drive keeps running all time. Packages above 10 LPA have very very high competition. Courses have everything to crack a good package off campus. But students aren't studious they don't know anything they just blame the university

Placement Experience:

Here the average package is 8lpa. Students start to get placements in their 5th semester. Microsoft, accenture, infosis, ibm etc are the companies which often visits for placement. University also guides the student for higher studies such as MBA and mtech etc. It provides guidance through dcpd, a department of career planning in our college

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

PEC Chandigarh: A balanced review on its Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students can involve in 7th semester also many students got their PPOs in 6th semester as well. There are many reputed companies visited in PEC like Apple, Microsoft,Adobe,JP Morgan,Goldman Sachs,Amazon etc.Highest package this year was around 58LPA on-campus while average of all branch turns into around 14.33LPA.Overall more than 50 percent students got placed in all batch while around 80 percent placed in CSE due to recession. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree or during my 4th year.

CU College review

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placement. Microsoft, Adobe ,and many more companies visit. Here average package is 4lack. Not much students get selected for placement. Because many students are elected out for low attendance and not joining there TPP program.

I had applied to LPU , amity but took admission in Chandigarh university due to affordable fee structure and high placement rates . Admission process is really simple you just need to sign in for CUCET then you need to give an entrance test where you would be provided with scholarship and then further you can proceed for admissby submitting all the documents online over the website....Read More
