All about Nit Jamshedpur

I didn't want to choose this course but my rank is not as good as I can choose computer science when i started taking this course it developed an interest in me. So I didn't regret to chose this course. this college provides you with facilities to innovation like conducting some real -world applications programmes So that students can learn something new. course curriculum is good I feel and i want tp change teaching methods only for some teachers who only want to complete their syllabus. the gap between the mid-sem and end-sem is very small, students feel difficulty in preparing continuously and the level of exams in college is higher.

Many companies offers internships in my college for example in 2024 ATLASSIAN gives summer intern to 10 students from 2025 batch. They have received a 2M+PPO offer at Atlassian. I am in my first year so I don't have much experience about internships.

The placement of this college is very good. from 6th semester students getting internships and many of them got PPO. Companies visited like Atlassian, Deloitte, LNT, Microsoft etc. The average package is about 15lac per year and the Highest package in 2023 was 83lac per annum. In 2023 approximately 98% of students placed. my plans after getting a degree to doing job in a multinational company.

The tution fee is not a big issue for those students whose family income is less than 8 lac, they get a fee waiver. The complete cost of education, including tution, service fees and other compulsory fees is around 326000 Rs. There is test test-based scholorship named Tata Cummins provided to the students who are selected for this after some criteria and tests. And there is a fee waiver according to family income.

My overall experience with campus life is decent. I still does not involve in any club .and the infrastructure is old however the new academic building is one of the best among top institutes. our annual cultural fest name is CULFEST and the technical fest name is OJASS which helds February and march respectively. Our college library is large and has enough books as required. our classrooms are well equipped with Air Conditioner and have smart boards. we organise a sports fest named URJA and some dance and singing clubs which encourages the sports and extracurricular activities in students.

Hostels are good at the price. There is facility of two persons sharing room and after first year single rooms will be alotted. in hostels, there are internet facilities and in every room, there is a LAN connection. In every room there is two bed, two almirahs, one chair, one table and a fan. Meal quality is decent as per money, menu differs from day to day. For registration, you have to just fill an application form.

To get eligible for this Course you have to crack Jee Mains conduct by NTA. if you have rank inside 50k in all india rank in jee mains then you can get this college and there are reservations also. You can find application form on NTA website and application around 1500 for OBC and general and 700 for SC category students and application dates announced by NTA. there are many reservations on category , homestate and PWD. Timings are 9 O'clock morning and around 2 O'clock afternoon. Admission process are lengthy .

There is one teacher for around 114 students. But it does not affect studies because our classrooms are structured like that everyone can study easily. There are some professors who only focus on completing the syllabus if students learning something or not. But there are some talented and innovative teacher who wants their student to learn something new, they help to explore themselves. You can interact with them easily in classrooms or on the phone. They give their phone numbers to students.
