Likes

campus life - the best life or the best moment at all in the whole university
faculty - well educated most people are p.hd holders or doing phds . most are from well known places and good at their end
infrastructure and placements - i know the most concerning part - PLACEMENTS !!! . Don't worry you will get more then enough chances to get hired . also the infrastructure is good

Dislikes

Dozens of fests - although this is a positive point but most of the events are non tech or concerts , parties and EDM
food - the most of the food is gujarati based

Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum is well designed and hands on knowledge based that means if you are learning any subject you are going to perform practicals on it . the college provide all study materials and the main highlight is that teachers are not the typical lecturers they will actually teach you. the exams on generally a mid semester exam which is 1.5 hrs and the end semester which is 2.5 hrs

most of the comapanies that comes for placements are like mid cap companies and also the college provodes the internship opportunities . for coming the projects its our own task , we have to pick a particular problem and consider a project the college will help you to achieve it

here is the fees break down : tuition fees + university fees ( exam fess + others ) : 127000 ( when i got the admission note that it will be change for this year) specialization course fee : 50000 > scholarship provided for the first year only based on percentage in class 12

Campus Life

i would say the one of the best campus life that i had experienced , the vibe , people, the culture , diversity and all are best . now caoming to the college life it is good , you will see the availability of a whole central library which contains thousands of books . the fuculties are well and good , classrooms are all conataning a digital board or smart board . there are more then 15 + cells available for tech , cultural , armed forces , civil servies , foreign study , etc

Hostel Facilities

so the hostels are very good infrastructure wise , coming to the fees and availability you have multiple options like 2,3,4,5,8,10 sharing with attached and common washrooms . the fees is more for less sharing ( 2,3,4) and decent for others . the hostel registration is based on first come first serve . the food is quite good but you will be the dominance of gujarati food on your plate with 3 meals a day

Admission

this is quite simple you can directly take admission , there is no any test or interview. there is a dedicated admission cell where intern are provided for each students and also counsellor for your guidance . you have to fill the admission form and book your seat by paying 10000 Improvement needed - the admission process is distributed means in different different places which could be centralized

Faculty

most of the faculties are assistant professors but they are highly educated , they are all the top level qualified of their respective field . the faculties are very much supportive in any order whether it is project , research or guidance . you can easily approach anybody if it is your HOD or principle . they are always open for students

My honest Experience at Ahmedabad University

Placements at Ahmedabad University are structured and well-organised. Placement at GEC Gandhinagar are decent but not as strong as the top engineering college in Gujarat while a few repeatable companies visit the frequency and variety could be better many students with good gpas and project work seek your decent job either through the collegial or by actively applying on their own for those who dont get campus placement the college still provide a solid foundation you can pursue higher studies take certification course or enter the IT or core industry thought of campus jobs overall the experience prepares you sufficiently for the next step But its wise to Proactive about your career.

Placement Experience:

Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students. The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum. About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

The college providess oncampus placements and has various connections and ties with various companies like Google amazon and many other. Campus placement is available in our college Most of students get plavement it means 80% to 85% students get placement After 3 year student get internship and then student get placement . Lot of companies come for placement like Tata, Reliance etc... Our college placement ratio is Lowest placement package is around 2 Lakh per year average placement package is around 3-4 Lakh per year And Highest placement package is around 6-7 Lakh per year.

What it feels to be a Parulite

After completing my 12th Boards I applied to a bunch of colleges and gave various exams to get a seat. I took the JEE exam as I wanted to go to IIT to pursue the same degree that I do now but unfortunately, I couldn't as I didn't get enough score to be selected for the advanced JEE exam. The other government colleges that I had applied to had a certain quota reserved for students from different regions and since I had to shift to a new city altogether that proved to be a hurdle. One such college that I had previously applied to before Parul University was the Maharaja Sayajirao College in Vadodara. I chose Parul University because I had good things about it and their placement scheme was well-known among people so I opted for this college. The admission process is pretty simple. They brief you about the fee structure for the course that you want to take on your first visit and give you a campus tour.
