Should you choose jec jabalpur ?

As The IT sector is booming I had taken this course .But the curriculum of the college doesn't prepare us for real world applications or further academic pursuits . You have to do coding by own because there's no coding culture in the college . Exams are held every month which further makes it it difficult to focus on coding and other real world things .

From 7th sem the students are eligible for campus placements. Companies that visited the college were Wipro, HCL, TCS,Infosys and many more. Highest package of last year was of 32 lakhs that was offered off campus to one of the student and lowest was 2lakhs Almost 85 percent students were placed .

Tution fees of the college is 100000 for 4 years which is so less . This college is good in terms of fees only . The college also provide scholarships to the students if you are from reservation quota that it's good enough but if your are from general category then your rank in jee mains is less than 2.5 lakh and your percentage in 12th is 85 or more then you are eligible for mmvy scholarship as a general category student

Aavahan is the annual sports fest held in the college and which is held in the month of April. There are over 1 lakh books in library which includes subject books , journals , higher study books ,etc. Classrooms are provided with projectors ,smart boards ,etc. Sports like chess, cricket ,footsal, basketball , volleyball, kho kho are played in sports fest. Karwaan is the social club of college which helps poor children in studying and also provides clothes to college.

You can take admission into this college on the basis of you jee mains score . You have to apply for mpdte counseling for taking admission in this college .Cutoff of IT branch in 2022 was 74000 . You can find fees and other details on the college website .

Faculty to student ratio is 1:120. It impacts my learning experience as teacher doesn't focus on each and every student which makes it difficult to solve my queries in the on going class but we can interact with teacher easily and ask them about our queries later
