- Hostel facilities are very clean , strict enough to stop students from acting rudely to other students. Weekly cleaning , good bathroom and toilet available.
- College buildings are very spacious, there are a lot of clubs available to fit the students interest and to be charitable to others.
Dislikes
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is quite relevant to our academic education, accept for subject like Statistics as they do not fit the primary focus of the computer science stream. We have to internal exams in one main exam, which are quite spaced , so as to not overwhelm the students. With the new batch having 4 years , I hope they can do a lot of internship .
Internships Opportunities :
As stated before ,I am a first year. Many companies such as Aditya Birla offer opportunities for the students . Projects are focused mainly on the 6th sem, and may require you to travel to companies and learn from them.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible to obtain placement after their 4th semester. That's a lot of companies who visit and a lot of offers ,though I have not been a part of it yet. The college offers an 80-90% placement rate. I plan to pursue further education aboard after this.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I pay 27k since I'm on the merit side. As I'm a first year, I am not yet arrived my job placement and I am still on the learning side. There is a lot of placement opportunity for the students. I only have tuition fee and mess ,hostel fees. No other fees to add along with it.
Campus Life :
There are a lot of events such as daksh, denuvo, dignito where students from different states attend. There's almost no book that isn't available in the library to my best knowledge . There's a lot of sports teams, the prominent one being the volleyball team. They have their own sports hostel. There's almost 20 clubs , with many teaching you business , yoga , dance , music and even charities .
Hostel Facilities :
There are 3 students per room. The room is quite spacious . The rules are quite lax as well!. The meals are better than any average hostel near the college. The registration process is a simple talk with the hostel director.
Admission :
This course requirs to have at least 75% marks in their 12th exam. You can find their online application in the depaul website. Admission process quite simple with the chance of an interview. Exams are not difficult at all. There are quite a lot of reservation benefits, though I didn't enter with reservation benefit.
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio would be around 10 per class of 60 or so. This helps in the focusing the personal development of each student. I like this fact over a college like CUSAT, No offence. Many of the teachers have done their PHD, and have high qualifications , you can trust the faculty in teaching you well. They are a bit strict towards students with no intention to study, so as to right then towards the good path. They focus on what the student is capable of.
