I am in my second semester in SKIT college in C.S. Branch , and till now my experience in this college was pretty good, i have made many friends till now and most of them are very dedicated to their future as they always keep improving their coding s
Skills and they are even learning new languages like python and Java while being in the 1st year, the teachers here also good with their subjects as they posses pretty good amount of knowledge about their subject and their teaching way is all good. T
The infrastructure development here in this college is pretty average and the companies which come here are pretty good like Infosys , Wipro and etc. And they provide a pretty good amount of package, the mentorship quality here in this college isgood

Dislikes

The infrastructure development in this college is not that good, Benches in the class are not very comfortable for sitting and the classrooms are not connected withh ducts or provided with A.C. facility. The teachers in Mechanical workshop have good
Knowledge about their subject but they are not very good by nature as they talk rudely to students and even in BEE lab too, the packages which are provided in this cllege by the companis which come here is not very decent even for C.S. branch. The bo
ys toilet in this college are not very good as they are dirty and in front of the canteen their is a small park and very bad smell comes from their. The mess food provided in this college is also not very good as sometimes we find inscets in the food

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum here in this college is pretty decent as the frequency of exams are at good level and they happen in every 1.5 months on average and the level of difficulty of paper is also good as Bloom level 4 questions come in th paper.

Placement Experience

The placements in this college for C.S. branches are pretty decent as the companies like infosys and Wipro and etc companies come every year for recruiting new employees and the percentage of students getting placed is also pretty decent and my plans after getting my degree is that I will give SSC exam for a government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for each semester in this college is around 50000 Rs which is a pretty decent amount and the scholarship provided in this college is also very good for S.C.,S.T. and as well as for OBC for the students whom parents are not at government job.

Campus Life

The campus life in this college is pretty nice till now as the students here are pretty good in nature as well as in studies and they don't do raging in hostel as well as in classrooms, we can play many sports in this college as there is are Volleyball grounds, Badminton Indoor courts , football field , cricket field and etc

Admission

The submission of all the documents took place in 1 day and they want call you again and again in the rest of the years as all of that is done on the admission day and they have pretty good management system for each student submission of documents.

Faculty

The most of faculties in this college is pretty good in both their knowledge in their subject as well as in their teaching method but few teachers are not very good by nature they talk to the students rudely .

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

My experience at SKIT College

I choose this college because this college us ranked no 1 in rajasthan for technical education. This is nirf ranked and RTU affiliated college but this college is become Autonomous. No i only applied for this college so I do not get any rejections from other colleges. Admission process is In jee you need to score more than 94 percentile to secured a Computer Science branch,there is also a management quota in that 5 lakh is given to college apart from college fees to get desired branch. I am only apply for this college as my first choice of reap counselling and my favourite branch computer science and engineering . And I got it in 1st round of counselling at 91.6 percentile. This is the best college ranked no.1 so I choice it and prefer it to my one position. I don't want to go in government college of Rajasthan so I choice it.
