Likes

The faculty we have here are well trained and they explain us everything pin to pin
The laboratory is also of finely equipped
They encourage as in other co curcular activities too

Dislikes

The college timings are too early compared to others
The jntuk syllabus is quite difficult from au
The long distance from the city a bit tougher to travel

The course i opted because i may have various different options to choose maybe the software or the hardware. And when comes to exams they are 4 different sets of question papers . The all the 4 will be of same difficulty level. They are tough when compared to AU syllabus

Placement Experience

90% of the students get placed by the time of graduation. But present because of the ressision the placement drive had not still visited. But GVP is well known for its placements and they ensure that there students get placed . Many companies like TCS, CAP GEMINI ,Google , Tech mahindra they all conduct placement drive in the college itself

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure we have is very edible. They different scholarships like if candidates of apcet have reservations they come under JVD and Category B seats are also available for the students of JEE . NRI seats are also been provided

Campus Life

They install tech expos , hackathons, tech fests , project expos . When it comes to sports they always be at your back i have been through university games 2 times and have 4 medals in national wide . They also have the facilities like NCC AND NSS i am an NCC cadet also performed in national competitions

Admission

We have to appear for apcet and the cutoff would be different for different courses. And if you are not of apcet then you also have admission by your JEE mains score card . If not you have to take a management seat or try my NRI SEAT

Faculty

The faculty there are very friendly and they don't stop or ignore us from asking questions. They always try to explain in different ways . The explain even the laboratory session fully. They gudie us in the project choosing also

Interview Experience

No there is no gd or interview for admission. Its just your +2 percentage and apcet rank you get is considered. And they make you apply for councling and after that yiu have to take the admission with all the documentation

Placements start from 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit with decent offers. Average package is good and many students get placed. After my degree, I plan to enter the tech industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

Placements are good in our college and the Teachers said that all the information when give career guidance how to attend our interviews in placements time and how to crack a exam percentage of student is based on 7.5 CGPA must be included and my plans after degree to get a job and improve my skills and go further. Highest package is almost 44 lakh annum and average package is 400000 placements ratio is 5:3 the companies visited or Amazon Wipro Microsoft Google etc from first semester in the 4th year the placement opportunities are eligible

3rd year onwards you can apply for internships and placements too I suppose . Almost all of the students get placed but I'm not sure of the average package for now . Some companies that crosses my mind is PayPal, fidelity etc.

The reason why I chose this particular college is, it is one of the top colleges in my city. As of me I'm an extreme introvert, so I can't mingle between people easily. So joining in a women's college made me less tensed. I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri vidya parishad college of engineering (autonomous), Raghu college, MVGR college and many more colleges in my city. I've got confirmed in only GVPCEW. Yes, i was rejected from the other colleges that I've applied and the reason was because of my eamcet rank. I wasn't able to get a good rank in my eamcet exam so i got rejected by the other colleges. The admission process is simple, we have to submit the required documents. There is no particular eligibilty for our college. Best for discipline and education

I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering autonomous which is our parent college and Pragati engineering college . I have got admission into Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering for women. I have kept option of other colleges as they are autonomous when compared to our college . But now ours is always autonomous. Admission into the college is through entrance test called EAPCET by counselling and the rank we obtained will decide to go to which college .
