Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

Everyday we have 7 periods. Each period duration is 50 minutes. Lab duration is 150 minutes. During lab you are provided with computers and other tools that are necessary for the lab . The main problem is most of the systems didn't work properly that may cause some inconvenience while performing any task. Mid examinations duration is 90 minutes and it is very sufficient. Whereas semester examination duration is 3 hours.

Various companies recruiting from the campus and highest package being offered

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. These include some companies like Accenture, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Effectronics, Aptroid, kodnest, 24[7].ai etc and so on Highest package of last year is 7 LPA. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in a well reputed company.

Yearly fees structure of the course

Yearly fees :- 75000 Andhra Pradesh state government provides full fees reimbursement to the students of convener quota(those students who passed in EAPCET exam). If management or spot then students have to pay complete fees (75000).

Various events organized in the campus

NCC and NSS are actively conducted in college. Whereas there are several other social events like Induction meet(for 1st year students interaction with faculty and other fellow students). Sankranthi fest is also celebrated every year. A two days technical fest is also celebrated. Talent expo in the name of Srujana is also conducted. Dasara and also Vinayaka chavithi are well celebrated.

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

Faculty to student ratio is very friendly. There approach towards students is quite good. There was nothing like best everyone is good in there ownway. And also there behaviour depends on how you react or respond. For every semester there are 2 mid examinations. These are very easy to write and also to pass.

Admission process and eligibility criteria of the college

Initially when I applied for this college I didn't know anything about it. Joined this college only for one particular reason that it is somehow close to my place where I live not only this my brother also studied in the same college and he said there was no problem in joining that college. To get admission in college one need to attend EAPCET exam conducted by Andra Pradesh government. This cutoff varies every year. Students who clear the exam are eligible to join in the college with full fees reimbursement. Whereas students who didn't clear the exam can also eligible to the college but have to pay full amount of fees particulars.

Night Life

Famous hangout spots are canteen, the huge garden, and the tables under trees, ground etc. As I am a day scholar I am not aware of hostel and it's timings .Well campus in time is 9:30 in the Morning and around 12:00 we will have lunch break. And college ends at 4:00pm. I never experienced nightlife in my college so I don't know much about it

Likes

My college is nearer to Visakhapatnam and Vijayanagaram as well.
I like the infrastructure of the college with a huge play ground and an auditorium for the sake of sports and events.
There is wifi facilities and well trained faculty.

Dislikes

Rest of all the things are good in the college.
There are more no. of boy students than that of girl students but it's fine.

Pros and cons of Avanthi college

Likes

Things i liked in my college is it's environment.And college is very spacious.
The facilties in my college are also good there is good drinking water facility and washroom is also good and rest room is available for girls .

Dislikes

The timings of this college is a bit more .

Admission:

I applied to many local colleges in Visakhapatnam local but my first priority was Avanthi.I applied to Sitam , Miracle , etc . But Avanthi college is near to highway which is very profitable for transport.

The college gives us that kind of an environment to concentrate on the academic and also it helps us concentrate on other circular activities with in our interests.

Admission:

I have applied to few other colleges in the same area around this college. I chose these bunch of colleges accordingly to my requirements. The approval of the colleges is based on the merit the students acquire in the EAMCET exam which is conducted by the government after +2. So through this process I got into this college for my chosen course.
