Likes

The faculty here is helpful apart from the college management.
We understand how life goes on when we face both highs and lows in the college life
The campus is small but I feel that's enough.

Dislikes

The management here is a little annoying.
Placement training session cost is more.
Only theoretical knowledge is taught here there will be no practical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview

As of now the college turned out into autonomous. So for the present joining students, I personally feel they would love the curriculum and coming to the exams , it's quite difficult here. I feel labs must be improved here.

Placement Experience

From 3-2 sem the students are eligible for campus placements. There are various companies visiting the campus, but there is no much selection. On an avg 7.5 CGPA student gets selected in the placement session. The college will guide regarding the placements and there will be placement training session which is paid.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college will only charge the tution fee and maintenance fee and there will be no other charges. If the candidate have any scholarship then they don't need to pay the fee . Like for example some of my friends are getting jaganna Vidya deevana scheme.

Campus Life

Yeah , while coming to the social aspects this college is poor a little. I mean in general we don't have active running clubs or sports . But the classroom facilities are quite good. And to improve the knowledge we have a large library here.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is decent here. But I personally say that the fee is more compared to the hostels located outside the college. The menu is good , but sometimes the taste isn't that good. The registration process will be guided by the hostel wardens in the reception section under the hostel block.

Admission

The admission process into the college is through emcet exam and also there is management quota if you can afford the fee. The application forms and doubts regarding the college admission process can be asked in the office section

Placements start from 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit with decent offers. Average package is good and many students get placed. After my degree, I plan to enter the tech industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

Placements are good in our college and the Teachers said that all the information when give career guidance how to attend our interviews in placements time and how to crack a exam percentage of student is based on 7.5 CGPA must be included and my plans after degree to get a job and improve my skills and go further. The reason why I chose this particular college is, it is one of the top colleges in my city. As of me I'm an extreme introvert, so I can't mingle between people easily. So joining in a women's college made me less tensed. I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri vidya parishad college of engineering (autonomous), Raghu college, MVGR college and many more colleges in my city. I've got confirmed in only GVPCEW. Yes, i was rejected from the other colleges that I've applied and the reason was because of my eamcet rank. I wasn't able to get a good rank in my eamcet exam so i got rejected by the other colleges. The admission process is simple, we have to submit the required documents. There is no particular eligibilty for our college. Best for discipline and education

I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering autonomous which is our parent college and Pragati engineering college . I have got admission into Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering for women. I have kept option of other colleges as they are autonomous when compared to our college . But now ours is always autonomous. Admission into the college is through entrance test called EAPCET by counselling and the rank we obtained will decide to go to which college .
