Fees of Jabalpur engineering college is very affordable compare to other colleges.
Campus life is decent in our college. This college provides decent sports facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my opinion course curriculum of this college needs improvement. Because college administration is following a slightly old curriculum. It is not that the college curriculum is not good, there are still many good things in the college curriculum. I am from the Information Technology branch. In this branch we are taught core subjects like Java programming, Python Programming, Computer Network, Computer Architecture etc which help us to contribute in real life projects. The difficulty level of exam is medium but there is very strict checking of the students before the exam.

Top recruiters of our college are HCL Tech, Wipro, Tata Consultancy service(TCS), IBM, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, LNT etc. Highest package in our college is 10-15 LPA. Lowest package in our college is 2.5 - 3.5 LPA. Average package in our college is 4-6 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed is vary every year. Almost 100+ students are placed. Most of the students preparing for Gate, CAT, and civil services. College provides necessary resources for preparing competitive exams. Also books are available for preparing competitive exams. Professors of college are very supportive and help students in preparing these exams.

Campus Life

The annunal sports fest of JEC is AAVAHAN. It is the 3-5 days fest organised in April. This events include various games and competitions such as Cricket, Futsal, Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi etc. Various events organised by college clubs on Entrepreneurship, Programming, Culutural fest, language fest etc. In my opinion Library is the best place in my college. All types of books for competitive exams, self improvement, Business related books are available in our college library also newspapers and magazines are available. College provides excellent facilities for many sports. Its campus consists of a playground for every sport games. There are many clubs in my college 1. E-cell JEC (The Entrepreneurship Cell, JEC) 2. GDSC JEC (Google Developer Student Club, JEC) 3. Mediacell JEC (Media and Marketing Club) 4. Kaarwaa.N JEC (NGO Club) 5. Danceon JEC (Dance club of JEC) 6. Raag (Music Club of JEC) Many more...

Admission

In Jabalpur Engineering college the eligibility criteria is same as the other government state engineering college affiliated to RGPV University. In this college selection for BE program based on the Jee Mains score card. Jabalpur Engineering college is a government state engineering college so everything is done through the MPDTE website from form filling of counselling to allotment letter of college. You can avail reservation benefits based on the MPDTE guidelines. Reservations like Freedom Fighter, Sainik, SC/ST, NCC etc. are available. If we talk about admission process in this college it's easy compared to other colleges because the staff is very supportive and the procedure is very easy and simple. You have to fill the admission form and submit it then after some level verification you have to pay the fees that's it.

Average college with no placements and exposure

Likes

I like infrastructure of the campus... infrastructure are very beautiful.
Library. I like library facilities college provide and we can take book from there.
Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities
Labs their labs computer are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

Likes

Faculties are full supportive (except some faculty)
Goverment Hostels are Good becaues of campus area
Oldest College of all over india and first E&TC branch opened in JEC

Dislikes

Zero college life beacuse everyone not get govt. Hostel
Campus distributed because of two way highway
No internship and entrepreneurship opportunity are there

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is totally outdated syllabus that was not relevant for current or future technologies. No fully functional labs, outdated machines and some machines are not working. There is no regular lab class and if have then you will write the practical file intesd of learning about machines.

I like the faculty of Gyan ganga college of Technology. They are very good.
I like the campus of college and it is very clean comparing to other institutes.
I like the placement given by our college and also rate of placement.

There is nothing about my college which I disliked

from 7th semester studentd are eligible for placement in companies like google microsoft cisco etc. the highest package is 51 lpa and average package is 3.5 lpa. percentage of students getting placed 70%. i plan to get a high package after comnpleting my degree

Faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful in academics , exam, and projects. Teaching focuses on fundamentals and practical understanding
The campus has good classrooms , labs , library, and sports facilities .The environments is friendly and suitable for learning.
The placement cell is active and provides training for aptitudes, and interviews. The curriculum is relevant and helps builds a strong technical base.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and live projects opportunities can be improved .
More companies can be invited for placements

Therefore I do this course and his placement in our city this is also quite enough to chose this course and mainly I didn't score good marks in jee to get other branches this is also one of region.

The clubs in the college are good. There are specific club for coding , for robotics, for music and dance.
The placement in the college is also good . If you give some efforts then you will get a good placement.
The curriculum and syllabus of the college is up-to-date and industry oriented.

Dislikes

The college did not have its own campus, so currently it regulates from inside MANIT.
The girls to boys ratio is very poor. In my batch there are only 18 girls among 650 students.
The fees of the college is also very high

Placement Experience:

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

Best IIIT in terms of campus life as it has over 150 acres of lush green campus with almost every amenities.
College has been improving its recent cultural status and activities by organizing events like Infotsav- Annual Tech fest. The girls to boys ratio is around 1:5 which is decent.
all faculties are phD holders and highly qualified in their respective domain.

Dislikes

Course curriculum is little bit on a harder side especially grading schemes. Some profs may deliberately give low grades.

semester lasts for only 4 months which may prevent many club events and exploration

Placement Experience:

For 4 yr courses, on campus placement drive begins in 7th sem and occur in 2phases in 7th and 8th sem. For 5 yr courses, the same in 9th and 10th sem. In 2025, All tech giants like, google(16 selected), oracle(5 selected), microsoft(3 selected), de-shaw(3 selected), groww(10 selected), american express(10 selected), Nutanix (6 selected), amazon (8 selected). Highest domestic was by de-shaw 67 lpa to 3 students. average package of cse was 27lpa , it+mtech 29lpa and it+mba 28 lpa. 214 students were placed out of 224 registered with a perecentage of 95 %.

I really like cleanliness in washroom and also in the college. I really like trees in college.
Faculty was really good and my subject teacher was teaching in a right way.
In this college the boys and girls in the ratio of 3:1.

Dislikes

Uniform is not allow in this college. I have no many clothes to wear day by day.
I don't like college timing. In winter season timing was not good.
Our campus is very small. And college fest is very less in this college.

Placement Experience:

In 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited in this college like Wipro, Cisco, infosys, etc. Highest package in this college is 20 lakhs. Average package is 5 lakhs My plans after getting the degree is getting good job.

No strict policy for maintaining 75% attendance criteria but you should maintain at least of 60%
No dress code you can wear casual dresses to in the class but you will have to wear formals only in

Dislikes

The class length is very high and there are 80 students In a class in the class size is small and congested
The infrastructure is very bad as it won't providing basic necessity

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college are decent as the average package is of 6.5 LP which is good as compared to the fees you are paying almost 90% of a students gets placedd from here the companies including TCS and Wipro come here
