curriculum as per AICTE model And as per Rajasthan Technical University equal importance is given to lab and practical application of knowledge Examination at SKIT:- Two internal midterm each semester & two end term in a year. results are announced very lately by RTU it should be improved

Internships Opportunities

not much internship opprtunities are provided by colleges. you will have put your own effrot to get internship. from 2nd and 3 rd year internship oppurtinities are aviliable.in the final year all student have to submit a project work and it is mandatory.

Placement Experience

average package offered in on campus placement is 4.5 lakhs per year. By 4th year generally student are eligible to seat for placement. highest package offered is 21 lakh. tcs,wipo,infosys,pinnacle etc visits campus. 60 to 70 student get placed generally.

Fee structure:- 1. Tution fees 4 lakh for complete 4 year 2. hosteling & pg: upto 4 lakh in 4 year total expanses in 4 year will be approx 9 to 10 lakhs Scholarships:- various scholarships are provided by colleges you can see it over college official website campus employment: no any such oppurtunities is provided

Campus Life

college fest : PRAVAH - is held every year .ICI fest is another fest organised by civil department every year central library is open from 8 am to 7:30 .computer system is also there in library. sports facilities are available like football ,cricket,badminton,vollyeball etc clubs & societies:- many clubs and societies are there in college . regular activties are organised by them. dedicated 2 hours of time is provided by colleges on every wednesday . overall college gives equal importance to extra-curricular activities

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Through AIEEE or RPET or through management quota. One can just apply through the college portal and submit there Aieee marks. Though RPET is a preferred mode of entrance to any college in RTU. Management quota is also there for well off candidates and lesser marks

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

My experience at SKIT College

I choose this college because this college us ranked no 1 in rajasthan for technical education. This is nirf ranked and RTU affiliated college but this college is become Autonomous. No i only applied for this college so I do not get any rejections from other colleges. Admission process is In jee you need to score more than 94 percentile to secured a Computer Science branch,there is also a management quota in that 5 lakh is given to college apart from college fees to get desired branch. I am only apply for this college as my first choice of reap counselling and my favourite branch computer science and engineering . And I got it in 1st round of counselling at 91.6 percentile. This is the best college ranked no.1 so I choice it and prefer it to my one position. I don't want to go in government college of Rajasthan so I choice it.
