Course Curriculum Overview

Rajagiri Institution offers a range of engineering programs, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. I chose Mechanical engineering. I love this course, the faculty is post-grad. They teach us very well. Exams were held two times in one Sem. Final exams are not hard if you study well.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 850000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Course fees for the engineering undergraduate degree is 85000 for students getting admitted through the keam result. It may vary for NRIs and OBC considering their type of quota through which they are securing their admission

Campus Life

Rajagiri Institution typically provides a vibrant campus life with various social activities, clubs, and events that cater to diverse interests. Students often engage in clubs related to their academic interests, hobbies, or cultural backgrounds. The library is filled with lots of course books. We can borrow books from the library.

Admission

Everything about the admission process was spot on. There was no delay throughout the completion of the admission process and parents were met with the best services. All the application forms and details are listed on their online site called RSMS which can be monitored by every parent and through this they can supervise their ward's academic performance as the portal provides provision for viewing the internal marks as well as attendance

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

Rajagiri Engineering college where engineers are built

I did write the exam for SRM and VIT but then since I wanted to study in kerala I chose rajagiri school of engineering and technology. Also rajagiri is a well reputed college which produces excellent engineers with innovative ideas, I wanted to study and build my career here.
